Locked FlashPro

Post by Hondata »

A FlashPro consists of a physical hardware interface and a reflash. The interface is the USB to vehicle adapter which enables the reflash to be flashed into the ECU using a laptop and is what most people call the 'FlashPro'. The reflash is the binary program delivered into the vehicle engine computer.

If you have a locked FlashPro, then you do not have a complete FlashPro as the reflash is still in the ECU.

If you ECU has been damaged then contact us for a RMA as we can unlock the FlashPro if the FlashPro and matching ECU are sent to us.

If you vehicle has been damaged in a collision and you no longer have access to the vehicle then claim the FlashPro from insurance.

If you vehicle has been stolen then claim the FlashPro from insurance.

If you do not have the vehicle or ECU then in order to unlock the FlashPro from the ECU we must charge at least the cost of the reflash. We cannot unlock the FlashPro remotely. We cannot unlock the FlashPro without the ECU no matter how much documentation you wish to provide proving you owned the vehicle because the reflash is still in the ECU.
