Help: tunning ignition timming

When I look at the maps of ignition timming in the boost columns 11-16 the timming is increasing when rpm increases it goes up to 21.75 is that normal?

Yes this is how they look, but these are just base maps to get you started...There is no promise that these settings are safe for your setup.

how come in my boost tables/high speed tables the ignition timing goes up to 41.00???? it seems a little hight this is why i'm asking....i'm using b16 greddy. i know its just a basemap and i am tunning myself, as a rough guess what do you think the timing should be when i am in boost. i have a b18c5 9:4:1 w 8lb jrsc 84mm bore. thanks for the info and help....tommy

nowhere under boost is there 41 degrees of timing. THat is all under very light load. ANd your vtec point should never allow the engine to operate at these levels anyway.
