Hi everyone brand new to the fourm i have been reaearching everywhere to get my s300 v3 to upload tunes here is my info first
- serial number - 36067
- version of software got the newest as of yesterday 10/27/18
- the calibration trying to load stock type R base
- a datalog of a problem
- Vehicle 1991 Honda Civic B20Vtec
- what sort of ECU - brand new HaMotorsports s300 p28
The car has a monotec jumper harness and the car is wired up obd1 with no resistor box stock pR4 runs the car decent enough to drive
I had bought the s300 used in another ecu which is why I got one from HA motorsports cause the other one was not priming the fuel pump I then replaced the s300 in the new ecu and still having issues the fuel pump primes now but I have red flashing light ONLY when smanager is open on my laptop I do have ignition on and everything set up right I have read through a lot of other threads and even talked to a rep from hondata and he helped me try to get it going I cannot upload any basemap “Upload” is greyed out
I bought a brand new printer cable drivers are also installed and ecu says online in the smanager I’m using windows 10 pro I might try another laptop if anyone has any input lmk I may just send it into hondata if I can’t get it working this week the board seemed to have a bit of flux on it along the 28 pin connector I might clean it up to see if it’s causing intermittent interference

Re: S300 red flashing light READ!
From help, About, what is the version of software you are using?
Re: S300 red flashing light READ!
I would recommend that you try to find someone locally that has an s300 already and try your s300 in their ECU to see if it works in something that is known good. If it does work then there may be a problem with how the ECU you are using was socketed.
Re: S300 red flashing light READ!
Thanks for the input I will try that and get back to you
Re: S300 red flashing light READ!
