Help. New to this all getting upload failed

Post by superchcharge9thgen »

Got a used 2012 si supercharged with flashpro already set in it.
Downloaded flashpro Manager on my laptop hooked up the flashpro and it wanted to update firmware. After it Downloaded I got a pop up that the last flashpro upload failed.
Failure information: code 0x00 step 5 adress 0x000000.
If I click the flashpro tab firmware version says the same 4.0.5.0 as flashpro Manager. Under upload says last upload failed.
I'm not to sure what to do tried to search erro code no luck. I don't know if I should plug it back into the car or ?
Any help would be awesome

If you open a calibration and try to upload, does it upload or give you an error?

No error that way.
I originally downloaded the calibration on the flashpro saved it to my laptop and uploaded it back to flashpro but haven't hook it back up to car yet don't want to loose the tune because I have no idea who did it or anything all came with the car and won't have time to get it to someone to dyno for a few weeks

Ok downloaded 4.1.0.0.
Pluged flashpro back into laptop.
Updated firmware.
It asked to update calibration to new firmware selected yes.

If it asks to update the calibration on the FlashPro click no and just open the calibration you want to use from the New Calibration button, then upload it to the ECU with everything plugged in and the ignition on by clicking the upload arrow at the top of the screen.

Just upload your calibration the normal way and don't let it update it automatically for you.
