I want to display some live sensor data through a tft screen in the car.

I'm after A/F, oil temp and boost.

I could use kManager and the display panel, as I already have an AEM UEGO a/F sensor connected to the k-Pro. Is there any way I could display the oil temp in kManager.

The other option is to make/get a serial adapter to get the oil temp sensor reading into the PC, then have some kind of library to get the sensor readings from kManager into my application, and display the lot using some fancy 3D on the screen.

Does anyone how/if this is possible or has already been done?

this looks really cool, only 1 question...

having edited Kmanager.ini to include DataLoggingOutput=1

you only get the option in MISC avaliable if it's a PRB calibration??

is it the case that this only works with PRB ECU's?

I have a PRA ECU and would really like to use this option to drive my Aim MXL Pista

HELP!

It is difficult to add datalogging to the PRA ECU because of lack of internal memory. I'll look again to see if there is room.

coulb be dificult but i dont believe Hondata with all experience in Honda ECU could not change that, if you can put Kpro in PRA ecu , the most dificult is done is only my opinion .
I like to solve that problem because i have spend so much money in all this equipment and nothing work, in this case i have so many friens now prefer to buy other ECU then Hondata , for example AEM or Motec.

Another question, i have post a thread in Forum, and now is not anymore, someone delete him ?

thanks

Hi all, sorry for answering on a so old post, but the answer of 'Hondata' user is exactly what I'm looking for.

I have some AIM products and wants to plug them to the ECU trough the dataoutput option, but I own a PRA.

I found in other posts, that data logging output is only supported on PRB based calibrations.
Is there some negative effects in uploading a PRB based calibration to a PRA ECU? (I'll manually copy all values of my PRA based calibration into a PRB based calibration, then upload it to my PRA ecu)

In the Help section of my Kmanager (1.3.5.4) I found the following sentence:

"Note that only PRB calibrations support the serial output. PRB calibrations may be used in PNF, PRD, PRC and PND ECUs with re-tuning, but cannot be used in PRA ECUs"

Can you please tell me some more about this lack of Internal memory on PRA ecus? Is it really impossible or is it difficult as you said?

Regards

(sorry if I posted in a wrong place)

You cannot just transfer values form a PRA calibaraiton in to a PRB calibration. They are not the same and it will not work properly.

Is it still not possible to connect the PRA with AiM MXL over the Hondata board?
