Hondata

Hi ,
I recently purchased a car and part of the sale included a Hondata Stage 4 system (blue box). The owner supplied the Hondata CD with the Rom Editor v2.5 software but the password he provided for me is not working. My question is, before I go to a dealer to purchase a Rom Editor I want to know if my only option is Rom Editor v2.5 or will Rom Editor v3 work for tuning a Stage 4 system?

If v2.5 is my only option than my next question is, are there any dealers out there still able to sell me a Rom Editor v2.5 key/license/password?

I also have a Stage 2 system, same question as above applies for the Stage 2.

I understand the Staged systems are no longer supported and have been for several years now, but this is what I have and really do not have the need nor the funds to upgrade to an S300. I have all the hardware and it's functioning from what I can tell, all I need now is a working rom editor that I'm willing to purchase a license for.

Well i'm in the same boat i have a stage 4 hondata box and no way of tuning this and am in need of the software that is compatable.

The software for old staged systems is no longer offered. If you want to be able to tune yourself and datalog you should upgrade to the s300 as it is easier and in the long run cheaper since you do not need additional hardware and software. The s300 also has a lot more features.
