K20a Toda A3 Cams Base Map Needed Please

Post by D@nCeR »

Hey Guys

ive had my car mapped at 2 seperate places in the North East where i live.. and both have turned out to be horror stories!

now i know because of the cams i have i cant use a 0 degrees cam angle.. no idea why.. or what will happen if i did.. but ive been told NO!

what i need is a lot of help.. and someone with loads of patients to help me map my car Myself!

Mods List:

Gruppe M
Hondata KPRO
Toda A3 Camshafts
Toda 4-2-1 Manifold
RBC Inlet Manifold
Standard Injectors
AEM Fuel Rail
J's Racing 65mm Large Throttle Body
Spoon B-Pipe
Spoon N1 Backbox

so if any of you gurus have the time and patients to help me out, i would be very gratefull!

Thanks In Advance

well ive managed to find the cams on Toda's site..

http://www.toda-racing.co.jp/en/product ... shaft.html

these are mine..
Angle (Valve Lift)
♦14111-K20-03A - Intake 245(9.2) / 295(13.0) / 240(8.7)
♦14121-K20-03A - Exhaust 240(8.9) / 290(12.5) / 235(8.4)

doesnt say anything about Cam angles.. all it does it say is:

♦Programmable ECU with tunable VTC required. Customers discretion required on selecting an ECU.

Find the IPS cam closest to it and see if there is a corresponding calibration to start with.

ok chaps sorry for the long delay.

ive been busy at work :P

i havent got round to putting the new base map on the car.. simply because im scared of what will happen, and seen as this is my daily driver to and from work.. and i have no way of putting the map thats on now back on if this goes pairshaped..

is there any reason why i have been told i cant use a 0 degrees cam angle?

how long do you need a datalog for?

and is there any other settings i should use first off so i dont melt my engine lol!
