datalogs review please

Post by dinoc »

Hi guys,

Can someone review please my datalogs , I'm not to good interpreting this.

I'm concern about knoks, AFR and intake temperature ... and maybe others if you notice something or I don't know.

Attached is an archive containing 2 WOT datalogs and 2 part throttle datalogs.

Many thanks.

1.º don't use a lock calibration. Hondata have FP for the user fine tune the car. With a locked calibration you are not able to do this. It's just another "reflash" that was made in other car.

2.º Your car have good AFR (around 13) at wot and no knocks.

3.º It's impossible to see the part throttle with only 1 or 2 datalogs.

4.º Read the user manual. It's so easy to tune Flashpro. Tune first fuel in every cam angle as said in the manual.

5.º Hondata can not say if your car is safe.

Thanks nuno,

It will be awesome to learn how to tune it myself, but I don't have the knowledges yet .
Meantime I'm using this locked map, I have no choice, because there are no Honda tuners in my country.
Also, in order to tune the car, I've thought you need a dyno, also , or not ?

Regarding datalogs I have post, do you see no knocks there at WOT, at all ?

Can you provide the calibration as well?

You are running a closed loop at WOT - usually this is because the WOT fuel compensation tables are too high or the open loop pressures are too high.

Thank you!

Unfortunetley this is not very clear to me what this mean,
I'm just a simple end user.
Is it safe or not to run with this map?

Running closed loop at WOT gives perfect AFs, but if anything goes wrong with the oxygen sensor you'll potentially hurt the engine.

Post the calibration and then we can determine if it is the WOT compensation tables or the closed loop tables.

Thank you for the reply Hondata !

This is a locked MAF calibration, made by a UK Hondata dealer/tuner (CPL Racing) so I'm not able to see it or modify it.
My car was not tuned on the dyno (as I'm outside of UK), they put the map on my ECU using FlashPro and locked it ( I've sent them the ECU ).

I've asked for feedback around, as they were not willing to give me any feedback, they said is up to me to determine if is good or not.
As I'm not good with this stuff I've asked feedback around and to you.

I'm willing to move to FD2 cams, also so I will need a map (for the mods from signature + FD2 cams) , so if anyone can give me one, as I said I can pay for it.
