KManager V1.3.8 beta

Post by Hondata »

Download here

Changes:
• Changed ignition tip in retard to fix retard oscillation.

This fixes a bug in the Honda ECU code which results in the ignition rapidly going up and down upon throttle tip in. Most cars do not show this problem. See http://www.hondata.com/help/kmanager/ge ... meters.htm for more information.

My ECU has this problem.

Curious if there is any net effect of having this issue?

I hope that this fixes my problem that I am having on my car with Idle surging really after I beat on my car some. I can daily drive the car fine but after I beat on it just once by taking the RPM's to redline my car idle surges like crazy. Almost so bad that I hate to drive the car because I will be sitting at a light and my idle jumps back and forth between 1000 and 3000 rpm's. The only way that it fixes itself is if I let the car sit and cool completely down before I drive it again. VERY WEIRD problem.

K-Pro KManager
Mapping and datalogging software for the K-Series Programmable ECU. 6/23/2009 4.4 MB V1.3.7
10/22/2009 4.4 MB V1.3.9 (beta)

This is what I see. 1.37 and 1.39 but there isnt 1.38.

If we make any changes to the beta version we increase the version number and release a new version. Thus 1.3.8 became 1.3.9
