Open loop over 5000rpm

Post by XPEHODATA »

SManager 1.4.7.0 and 1.4.8.0
Why S300 switching to open loop from 5000rpm with any MAP and TPS values?

This is normal operation for it to go into open loop at that RPM.

This is normal behavior. What makes you think it is not?

It's my normal cruising speed and rpm. I driving my car everyday more than 5000rpm for a long time. What a difference between 3000rpm or 6000rpm to forced open loop? Why I can change maximum MAP/TPS and can't change max rpm for this???
I have Golf GTi 1.8 turbo. That ECU always in wideband closed loop from factory. And have more than one targed voltage for it for some MAP values.

Are you always racing your car? I never reach 5k rpm when I drive unless I'm either racing; or accelerating to pass somone.

No. It's my everyday car. What a problem for 5k? I have vtec point at 6800rpm and rev.limit at 9000rpm. And driving my car more than 100ml/h at highway for a long time. It's a Honda.

Stock transmission with 4.4 final gear. Max speed 220km/h @ 8500rpm
I have a transmission with KAAZ 4.9 final gear and Carbonetics 1-5 gears for racing. Max speed 170km/h @ 8500rpm
The car worked perfectly about 5 years. I don't wont changing anything in the car. I just want true closed loop. And not understanding - why it's normal when ECU goto open loop at 5000rpm.

If it's normal behaviour what should the air/fuel ratio be?
Does K-Pro do the same thing and if so the same question as before; what should the air fuel ratio be? :?
