My first time using flashpro (have kpro on my car), tried to flash an ecu with a 2nd hand flashpro.

Got everything installed on my computer after going through help (thanks for clear instructions), but couldn't flash to ECU, said flashpro was flashed to another car.

Looked in Flashpro -> history, and the VIN that is listed for today's date is the same VIN that flashpro says it is locked to (the same car/ecu we are trying to flash).

Serial No. is FP-s2k-us-30053.

Note: This ecu is not the original ecu for this car, it is a replacement ecu. using flashpro v.1.1.7.4

Look the FlashPro window under the 'FlashPro' tab then FlashPro->License.

If it does not say 'unlocked' then you better contact the seller.

See http://www.hondata.com/help/flashpro/in ... ashpro.htm

cool, pretty sure it did say unlocked, and that's why we were so perplexed we couldn't lock it

got it working. owner sent it off just in case it needed to be unlocked, when he got it back, hooked it up to computer, booted computer, and everything worked as it should.
