Hi all,

I'm looking into K-Pro for my 06 RSX Type S. I live in PA and am required to pass an OBD2 scan. From searching and reading the hondata info on the 05-06 I see it's necessary to use an 02-04 ECU and 02-04 oxygen sensor. The part that worries me in the description is this:

"OBD2 must be disabled to eliminate errors generated by the ECU looking for emissions items that the 05-06 RSX does not have."

Any more info on what this entails? I've read others on here that said all that is required is to enable obd2 and set readiness before heading to the shop. I didn't find any clear cut answers on if a stock 05-06 RSX w/K-Pro would pass. I won't be running a race header or removing the cat as I want to be able to pass emissions. The end goal would be a street legal turbo setup.

Any help/clarification is appreciated. I need to know for certain I can pass before investing $1800 + new O2 sensor. It would suck to drop the money and then not have a car that can be legally driven (much like my 99 SI).

Hondata systems are for off-road use only and may not pass an emissions test. It may or may not pass depending on how they test and what they test.
