11.8:1 is quite high for a turbo setup.
here we had a supercharged setup with such a high CR, since the exhaust gases can move freely away from the head and aren't blocked at the turbocharger, that blocks the hot gases near the cylinderhead.
if you want a turbo setup, you should talk to a tuner who has done some setups and knows what to do.
the CR should be, depending on the power you want, somewhere around 9-10:1 (since most of the cars shall stay a daily driver and get some reasonable economics)
such a project isn't done in 2 weekends with a couple of beers. it's more a project, which should be planned properly, to get the solution you want and not one that anybody tolds you to do.
