boost solenoid in 04-05 civic d17 kpro

Post by JoSoTurbo »

I have kpro for d17. The problem Im having is how do I get the boost solenoid to hold 7 boost in all 5 gears. It keeps boosting all the way to 10 psi no matter what I try. I have boost control enabled and I have it set at 100% normally closed and I have it set at to activate at 1 psi. The basemap I am using is the supplied basemap for 310cc injectors for the 04-05 honda civic. I currently am running boost cut at 8lbs to protect the car. What am I doing wrong?

If you disable the boost control, what does the car do then? If it still overboosts, you will need to change the wastegate spring..

If I disable boost control and unhook the vacuum line running from the top of the wastegate it holds at 5lbs no prob.

Try other settings besides 100%...like 5% intervals starting at 15% and going up from there

Still no luck sir. I noticed you all have boost solenoid frequency available for flashpro users. Could you all update Kmanager with this feature for us Kpro users. Maybe that would help some of us.

Hondata,

For KPro, what is the fixed frequency that the boost solenoids operate at? Since we can't change it.

Thank you very much. Are there any plans to have this be adjustable like S300 and FlashPro or does the ECU not support that?

The ECU does not support a variable frequency.

Alright, thanks for all the responses.

It's odd it seems that the RSX ECU lacks a lot of the capabilities of the other Honda ECUs (Si, TSX, etc.)
