Use of K20A2 + Nondata outside the vehicle.

Post by mrVLV »

Hello! I purchased the K20A2 for installation on the racing boat. Natural that many sensors that installed on the vehicle will not be used. What are the recommendations of can you give for the acquisition ECU (PRB + Hondata?) for an excellent of the engine (turn off the immobilizer, ELD, VSS sensor and others).
Thanks for your reply.

You can download the Kmanager software for the K-Pro from our website and see exactly how it works and what you can disable. Not all sensors can be disabled and without them it will not run correctly.

All right. I have downloaded the K-Pro and was looking through its capabilities.
Change the wording of the question: what are the mandatory conditions (presence sensors) for the success of the K-PRO.
Addressing you on this forum, because I am sure that the engineers Hondata lot of knowledge on Honda engines and can give good advice to .
Thank you.

It will require all the engine sensors to run properly. You may want to look at the details of the swap harness that we have posted at: http://www.hondata.com/techk20wiring.html

If you are unsure of how to procede then this project may be a little above what you will be able to do.

I have studied the proposed scheme, there are no problems in the implementation. Similarly http://www.hondata.com/techk20-ctr-o2wiring.html . About how to disable OBDII in K-Manager. I am concerned about the lack of sensors and solenoids EVAP control systems .
Yes still the engine is fully staffed stock sensors and motor wiring (connector A, B, E)

If you disable OBDII & set a constant speed input of 50 mph it should work. The lack EVAP is not a problem.

All right. On the site Hondata I have read that K-Pro is possible to install yourself , by having the soldering station, a microscope and a qualified electronics specialist. Where is can I buy K-Pro, as the neighbors to see me European dealers offer this product at the old price 995 USD ?

You cannot order this to install yourself. It will need to be installed by the dealer you purchase it from. They may charge extra for this.
