FlashProManager 2.6.7.0 & 2.6.8.0

Post by Hondata »

Changes from 2.6.7.0:
  • Added language translation
  • FlashPro firmware updated to version 111
  • Added support for 2016 Civic Turbo including 5AN-C03 & 5AN-A93/L93
Download here

The FlashPro now supports 30 different ECU variants for the 2016+ 1.5 turbo Civic.

FlashProManager language translation is supported, but no translation files are included with this release.

FlashPro bricked after 2.6.7?

Post by g-gill24 »

Hey,

Before this update my Hondata was working fine - was able to upload my ECU and whatnot. but after I downloaded the new one that just released. It recognized my USB/CAR and said it will update flashpro. It did the update and then my Hondata just died? When I go to device manager it says "usb device descriptor request failed". I tried multiple ports/uninstalling driver and reinstalling and even tried it on a different laptop but get the same problem.

Is my Hondata bricked? Am I screwed $800? :(

First, what version of windows are you using? The instructions depend on the version because Windows 10 does things quite differently.

I factory reset my laptop and it worked. But sometimes it can't detect my VIN number, I had to reconnect it 3 times to my vehicle for it to detect. Not sure if that's a bug?

First inspect the USB cable and the FlashPro for any problems with the USB connector.

For Windows 10 on a laptop try disabling 'Fast Startup' from the power options.

Then if it doesn't connect open up the device manager and tell us what it shows there.

Hey,

I ended up factory resetting my PC and that fixed it.

Hi Hondata,

When I installed this new update and uploaded my calibration to my car, it ran really bad and could barely idle. I tried to reinstall the software from your link but it keeps on downloading 2.6.6 but now my firmware has been updated to 2.6.7. I was able to get the car running properly again with the older software but now I am unable to datalog because of the newer firmware.

Any suggestions?

Thanks!

We've made a release to fix the 8th Gen Civic problem:

V2.6.8 (9 May 2017)
• [2006 Civic Si / Type R] Fixed inconsistent injector duration.

Today updated the firmware from 2.6.6.0 to 2.6.8.0

Issue:
The orange LED is very dark after the update! It is hard to see if the log is started or not.
It look like a little "glow" like a old LED.

Please check it.
My Flashpro is ~4 years old without BT
