I just wired up my Ethanol content sensor, I've been using the Innovate ethanol content gauge (MTX-D) for a while now due to the lack of flex fuel support, but now that it's released I decided to try it out and wire it into my ecu
I have a 2014 civic SI and I cut the A44 (ECT2) wire on my ecu plug, I called Innovate and they told me the white wire on the sensor is the signal wire. I Tapped into the white wire on the sensor and connected that to the ECT2 wire (The end that goes into the ecu plug) and taped off the other end of the ECT2 wire. I also ran the sensor's ground to the chasis in parallel as they recommended as well.
I downloaded Flashpro manager 2.8.7 via the link on the original post, disabled ECT2 in the misc section, set all the ethanol parameters to 0 (because my tune is tuned for E55 so I don't want it to overcompensate), and flashed it onto my ecu. I took a live datalog and noticed that my ECT2 is displaying 32* which is not right (assuming it reads ethanol percentage in degrees) as I'm running E55. (Ethanol gauge reads 53.8%)
Am I doing something wrong here? I have Hondata traction control installed, so it has been correctly tapped into the ELD (Pin 34) I used that as a reference to find pin A44 which was a green wire following the image below
