FK8 Error uploading

Post by L_S_i »

Hi, a customer brought me a car and a flashpro where the bosch ecu is jailbroken already. While uploading a calibration I got the following code and now I cant even return the ecu to stock. It happens in both upload and return to stock.

"Failure information: Code 0x4 Step 16 Address 0x340000
Explanation: The ECU stopped responding while reflashing. Check OBDII connector pins."

The flash pro was successfully locked to the ecu/car. Software is up to date and Flashpro updated its firmware when ignition was turned on for the first time.

Thanks

did you try uploading the calibration with just the dongle itself and not connected to the laptop

just a temp solution to get it running maybe

What is the FlashPro serial number?

What is the ECU serial number? (should start with 95BFA)

From Help, About, what is the version of software you are using?

A chiptuning company did. With magpro hardware/software. Do you think the jailbreak wasn't properly done and could cause this issue? But wouldn't flashpro software detect that the ecu is locked and prevent the upload?

With everything plugged in and the ignition on, go to the Help menu and click on send information to Hondata support. include the serial number on the FlashPro and a description of the problem.

It is because it is a E03 ECU but has a G03 calibration in it. We will send instructions via email.

We have emailed you, but your ECU has not been properly jailbroken and will have to be corrected by whoever did the jailbreak on it.
