Battery problem ?

Post by RedYung »

Hi Hondata,
Is my battery looks ok ? It seems like it is fluctuating between 12v and 14v. I have ACC check system lights on suddenly and sometime it just goes away.
Now my ACC check system is quite permanently on and Im not sure how long it will stay that way.
Is a normal healthy voltage should show a stable 14.5v all the time ?

That is normal on all vehicle equipped with BMS.

Your ACC problem is a different story. Try to have it scanned at the dealer or shop with good code scanner. The hondata scanner will not read it since it only can access OBD and PCM.

Problem fixed. Seems like the brake socket below my steering has loosen causing intermittent connection issue.
I have added after market brake lock that has a brake alarm system where I think I might be accidently pull it and caused it halfway loosen.

Didn't realise before that our ACC requires brake electronic to be in OK state as well. I thought that my ACC radar or the camera has hardware issue or the battery has weaken. I have spend hours trying to figure out what went wrong.
