K24a3 w/ PRA ecu and kpro v4

Post by EbayJesus »

Hello everyone, i’m on the final stretch to start my build:
- euro k24a3
- k20z4 trans (css)
- rbc with drive by cable ctr throttle body and cold air intake
- 4-2-1 headers and 76mm full exhaust dekat
- 50 degree vtc gear
- Kpro v4 mated with a PRA ecu, i’m using a Innovate MTX-L plus wideband wired in Analog 0

I’m looking for a Kal that can work temporarily with my setup (the car will be dyno tuned start/mid next year), already saw the ones provided by Hondata but for the PRA ecu no k24 available only k20 and searching on the forum i have read that it’s not possible to use Kal from other type of ecu.

I’m up for everything, thank you

I suggest you start with the base Hondata provides and modify it as needed. Make sure the fuel is dialed in and there is no knock. This should hold you over until you get it tuned next year.

thanks for the reply, for the first few laps around the neighborhood do you recommend leaving it in open or closed loop?
I'm a novice to ecu tuning but i'm willing to learn.

When tuning you should always set it to open loop.
