PLEASE HELP

Post by Jamesv »

I have a 2009 8th Gen honda Civic SI with lots of mods that seemed like it needed more fuel so I tried to use a calibration off hondata that seemed like all the mods I have (list is below) and now the car runs TERRIBLE. Won't Rev past 4K RPM and it's in limp mode, admittedly I should have had a professional or someone who knows what they are doing mess with it. I am in over my head can someone please help me I will pay for base map to make it run ok. I appreciate the time anyone takes and will compensate you.

Mod list
K20z3head
K24a2 block
Skunk 2 dual spring and retainers
Skunk stage 2 cams
Skunk 2 cam gears
Skunk 2 intake manifold
Skunk 2 cold air intake
Skunk 2 fuel rail
Honda 410cc injectors
Eagle rods
Wesco pistons
Buddy club header
76mm full race cat back exhaust

PLEASE HELP I WILL PAY YOU.

I can assist you with your car. Do you plan to get it tuned later? Do you need something to get it running well or do you need a full Etune service?

Hello Ed,

Yes I plan on getting a dyno and tune after I put on a supercharger in a few months.. So the car was great before I changed the tune with my hondata, but it needed more fuel, after putting a calibration on it it's horrible. I will Zell you or venmo it to you of you can provide a calibration that will get me through a couple of months. I truly appreciate any assistance you provide and will 100% pay you.

Post the calibration you are running. What modifications have you don’t order the file? Thai helps me know if it best I start from scratch.

Ok , can I give you my number to send pictures and communicate easier? If not that's ok I'll post here.

I'm running the calibration from hondata, "civic-si-RRB-skunkstg2, 310, fg2/fa, CAI, Skunk header & cutback, Skunk stage 2 cams."

Sorry my previous post was awesome. That’s what I get for posting while distracted. What I meant to ask was if you had made any modifications to the file. Some times it’s easier for me to start from scratch.

Give this a try. I increased the fuel to be safe. We can adjust it accordingly. Create a log at idle and a normal drive log. Make sure the car has reached operating temperature.

I adjusted fuel. It's running leaner than I expected.

Here is the data log for second calibration your provided. It idles much better and doesn't make any knocking or pings. But it still wont rev past 3800 rpm, any ideas why that is happening?

Double check your cam shaft position sensor. The datalog shows that it is stuck at 0 degrees when it it suppose to increase in value.
