When/Will the FL5 pops and bangs be available for FK8?

Hi Hondata,

Is there a reason that this new option is not available for the FK8?

The FK8 is different from the FL5. Adding it for the FL5 took hundreds of development hours, and it will take at least as long to develop for the FK8.

Thank you for the reply, could you briefly please explain why? Isn't the FL5 platform essentially the same?

The FL5 and FK8 use different generation ECUs. They are not the same. Doesn't mater how similar the engines are.

Oh ok, thank you. So we are to assume new features will not be added to the FK8 and development will be focused on the FL5?

No, we never said that. FK2/FK8/FL5/DE5 should have the same features subject to differences in the ECU.
