Flashpro locked

Greetings… I bought a used flashpro locally earlier today… got the unit and plugged into my laptop with flashpro manager and at the bottom left it said unlocked with the little lock icon showing as unlocked… I paid for it and he left…
I got home and registered it in my name and put in my own password… the unit updated to which I clicked yes to everything and now it says it’s locked… I’ve not plugged it into my obd port at all…
The person I got it from answered and said you saw yourself it said unlocked which I did… I just don’t understand what happened and how I can resolve this and now he’s basically telling me he paid his rent with the money I just gave him and he doesn’t know what I did wrong… please help!

What is the FlashPro serial number?

Here’s a pic of the flashpro serial number, I have however also submitted this to email support and just sent them the serial number too….
