The Hondata Land Speed Race Team takes first and second place honors in the 2009 Southern California Timing Association’s Points Championship. The championship comprises of 6 races held at the El Mirage Dry Lake Bed from May through to November. Cars and motorcycles are timed for top speed on a 1.3 mile dirt track.

Hondata, in conjunction with CT Engineering is pleased to announce the Stage 2 reflash for the CT Engineering supercharger for the 06-09 Civic Si. It will will be available May 11th. This reflash automatically delivers fuel and ignition for for varying levels of boost and works with 3.6" to 3.15" pulleys.

05-01-2008 Update: AVG has updated their definitions and now AVG no longer reports SManager or KManager software as a virus.

Available now, for the s300 and K-Pro, the Hondata normally closed boost control solenoid is designed for use in high boost applications, but also works well in low boost applications. It is normally closed so that if there is a failure you will run off the wastegate spring instead of over boosting.  For more information click here.

All socketing kits now come with a new capacitor to replace the main capacitor found at position C14 on all OBD1 ECUs.  All Hondata socketed ECUs will also have this capacitor replaced.  This is a preventative maintenance procedure.

 
Doug Macmillan, co-founder of Los Angeles based Hondata drove his Acura RSX  to four new records at the Bonneville Nationals Speed Week.  A rookie driver, Macmillan drove an Acura RSX  in the G class Altered coupe and Competition coupe classes, competing in both gas and fuel categories. Over the seven days of competition, Macmillan set four records, with a highest one-way speed of 190.1 mph (305.9 km/h) with nitrous oxide and 172.mph naturally aspirated.  Hondata is recalling all 2007 Civic Si reflashes shipped prior to July 16 2007 for an upgrade.

Hondata is pleased to announce the K-Pro for the 2001-2005 D17 Civic. Available immediately the K-Pro for the D17 consists of a hardware modification to a donor K-Series ECU, a specially modified cam timing wheel, plus Windows software which allows you to re-program the ECU and datalog sensors.
