Tried a stock distributor and, believe it or not, datalogging works while the laptop is on battery power... You guys were right, of course. Also, this really isn't a big impact once a reasonable base map is in place. I'll use the S300 internal datalogging for making a pull, running a few laps, whate...

Pardon my ignorance. EMI causes RF interference... I think I have that straight. Seems a shame so much reseach being done for an antiquated distributor system... haha....
Maybe Hondata can come up with a way to put the K-series DIS onto the Bseries for all of us who refuse to engine platforms...

Tried datalogging on a car with stock ignition system and it works fine. So, it appears the MSD components may be suspect. Although, I'm wondering, since it appears to only happen when the laptop is on battery power, if I might be able to put a new coil secondary lead on and cure the problem. In any...

Ok - I'll do that tonight. I was just thinking, since K-Manager and S-Manager share drivers, it might isolate the issue to being laptop specific.

Thanks

No other car to test on at the moment. If the iginition components were the problem, I should be able to test with K-Manager on an RSX, to verify datalogging works, correct? I don't understand why it the power source for the laptop would make a difference with datalogging if it's the ignition system...

Spark plugs are NGK V-power resister type. MSD SCI, blaster coil, and MSD Wires. Distributor/ICM are stock.
Don't think it's related to RF interference. Datalogging works as long as the laptop is plugged in.

Datalogging on Battery power

V1.4.1.0 Dell Latitude D630 on Windows XP Datalogging all parameters while the laptop is plugged into AC source. If I run off batteries, datalogging stops. I am able to navigate to some screens and make changes. Also, datalogging stays functioning on battery power as long as the engine isn't running...

Never mind - found it.
It's in settings/units at the very bottom. Note - there is no scroll bar indicating more items are below the display area... would be nice to have scroll bars on windows when not all items within the window is not displayed.

Lambda or Air/Fuel

Using 1.4.1 on Windows XP, and I do not see the option to change lambda units to air/fuel on the settings/general tab. Was this changed? I am not finding it on the closed loop tab either, or any place for that matter.

Help! I'm unable to calibrate a PLX wideband without seeing A/F.

I upgraded ROMEditor to V3.5.5 as was wondering if there is a corresponding HondaLogger upgrade?

Thanks
