Re: KPro / KManager requests

Is there any chance of getting the aftermarket IAT sensor support? Would really like to see this in both K-Pro and S300. This was already in the list made by The Spectacle, but I didn't see any comments by Hondata. Maybe 20 values would cover most of the data supplied by different manufacturers (Bos...

Is it possible to use this feature for full-throttle shifts in a car that has a clutch pedal switch (oem k-tranny)? Just thinking of wiring the clutch pedal swith to (PRB) K-Pro.

Anyone done it already?

I've seen numbers from E02-E13. They all work and can be coded to 2001-2005 Euro-CTRs. We have coded many different ones. What you guys are getting from the dealers is a lousy excuse for not wanting to recode the ECU.

Ahh, my bad english again. Sorry! So I need to run a wire from the E4 to the lambda connector? Or to find where the rear O2 lambda ground wire is in the harness and run that to E4?

In the "K20 UK Civic to PRB wideband O2 wiring"-instructions provided by Hondata, the following is mentioned: Connector E4 grounds both the front and rear oxygen sensors. If you wish to continue running the rear 02 sensor you will need to run another wire from E4 to ground it. The rear O2 ...

Are they identical as standard or only when K-Pro'd? So can you use a standard PRD ECU instead of PRC in a DC5 ITR?

Slightly offtopic here, but will a K-Pro'd PRD ECU (JDM CTR) work in a JDM Integra Type-R or in a RSX-S? All I know is that all these ECUs (PRB,PRC and PRD) use a wideband lambda.

Is there a way to make a PRB (Acura RSX-S) ECU immobilizer work in a PRA (Honda CTR) ECU? We tried recoding the keys for a K-Pro'd PRB in a CTR, but it couldn't be done with a Honda tester. Unfortunately I don't remember the error message. There must be something different in the immobilizer circuit...

Ok, we still haven't figured this one out. There seems to be a few people with the same problem even driving RSX-S. Hondata should really do something with this... For example this case:

Removing K-Pro from a ECU

Is it possible to restore a K-Pro'd ECU back to standard (remove K-Pro board)? Of course, one has to know the modifications that are made in K-Pro installation process. Is there something special in this that has to be taken into account? What map will the ECU have then? The one downloaded from K-Ma...

We have the exact same problem here with one car (2003 CTR, PRB K-PRO ECU and RSX-S wideband oxygen sensor). This occured after a few months after a succesful installation. The error code: Code: 41-1 DTC: P1166 Description: Heated Oxygen Sensor1 (Primary HO2S) Heater Circuit Malfunction We have test...

Ok, thanks for the info. Do you need to keep the calibration open during the datalogging to get the gear recorded?

Did you put correctly the sensor in the gearbox ? (near final ratio) Yes, the VSS-sensor is functional. Otherwise my speedometer wouldn't work. The VSS-datalogging works as well in the k-Manager. Actually I have a PRB ECU in my CTR. My friend has the PRA (and standard gearbox). Everything else seem...
