Re: Closed loop - wide swings

FYI to readers: set S.Trim and L.Trim min and max to all zeros as to disable closed loop, and carefully tune, then re-enable. I found that when dead times were off, the delays and swings were too vast that it made tuning difficult and time consuming. I do this exact same thing and it really helped ...

Re: low RPM hesitation and rough tip-in enrichment

Before tuning, my engine had some inaudible knock that would cause under aggressive knock control, and during these times, I found that I would get something like you're describing. I used Hondata's suggested method of overlaying knock count on the ignition map and pulling timing where I saw frequen...

Re: FlexFuel (E85) system support?

Ahh, yeah, seems a little much to just add BT, I think I'll just get a OBDII Y cable. So, thinking about this more, I may be running out of inputs if I plan to add traction control. With traction control wanting to use the ELD, and the ECT2 input being used by my wideband, that leaves the possibilit...

Re: FlexFuel (E85) system support?

I was totally unaware of this capability. I see now where you have info for the 300v3: http://www.hondata.com/help/smanager/flex_fuel.htm I already have the boost control mod, is it still possible to get this input and retain secondary wideband input? Also, is there a trade-up program to get a newer...

Positive STFT causing negative LTFT

Am I missing something here?

My understanding of LTFT was that it's based off a sampling of STFT over time, this datalog doesn't reflect that at all.

Would love to see support for this as well, but my assumption is that it's not going to happen, for the same reasons nitrous fueling isn't going to happen.

Re: what are the real ID 1000cc offsets? and also rc750 :)

Update: It seems that ID's numbers are closer than I had thought, but I think I'm having issues with the injectors heating up and causing the dead times to increase. It's time to thermally insulate the intake manifold and see if I can get them to behave.

Re: what are the real ID 1000cc offsets? and also rc750 :)

Using the supplied dead time sheet, I had started by using the 43.5 psi row, but was having serious issues with idle, etc. I saw the that generic calibration supplied by Hondata used numbers closer to the 60 psi row, and then realized that I should have used the fuel injector pressure differential. ...
