Re: After Firmware update, cal problem

no sorry, you look like the idiot on the 9th gen forums, here and all the other places your posting trying to get sympathy, you are nothing short of a scam artist who thinks they can bully people/businesses in to getting your way, I have followed this all along when you where posting on the 9th gen ...

Re: After Firmware update, cal problem

I would recommend that you do your homework and become knowledgeable in efi tuning, from what I can tell you wont be happy no matter what, you can study up at places like https://www.efi101.com/ and get a better understanding for how this stuff works, then tune it yourself so that way you have no on...

Re: After Firmware update, cal problem

The data logs prove the tune was not completed. If your a tuner and know what the logs should look like, why pay someone else, a professional to tune it? Vit claims the tune is done when "we are both happy". That didn't happen. That's why the paypal dispute. where you telling him there wa...

Re: After Firmware update, cal problem

I want to make sure I got this right, you got mad because you thought your car should have had more tuning than the X amount of runs you did, but where told it was done, then file a paypal claim because you say you didn't get what you paid for? you lost that claim so you go anywhere you can to compl...

Re: Flashpro and evap shut valve

I've got a forced induction vehicle which does not exhibit this problem on either Race or AFM calibrations, so I can assure you that it does not affect 100% of vehicles. I don't think it will affect 100% of the cars out there, a venting (bad) fuel cap will help stop the problem, a leaky evap system...

Re: Flashpro and evap shut valve

this was a friend car after idling for 5 minutes, notice the center and side strap has a nice sized gap, before we started the car the tank was sitting dead flat on those straps. BTW: his car made no funny noises as he has a good condition OEM honda gas cap which will not release and let air in so h...

Re: Flashpro and evap shut valve

I will tell you this much, every car in my area that is on FP and running a race cal (map calibration, 12 cars so far) was having the same issue of the fuel tank collapsing. I do know the evap purge valve is staying wide open while the car is running allowing vacuum to be drawn the hole time the car...

Re: Flashpro and evap shut valve

So are you saying its only acceptable to use a map based tune if its a full blown race car which has fuel tank venting mods and never sees street use? Would have been nice to know this before I took the risk of running one on a street car that sees track time on the weekends.

Yes I did, you can see I refer to "map" calibrations in most of the post, and I fixed it by converting to a "hybrid" cal.

Re: Flashpro and evap shut valve

another update. I need to correct where I worded things wrong. the evap shut valve (which I stated above) is supposed to come on with the ignition on 2 but the evap purge valve (which is what I meant but typed out evap shut valve) is supposed to have battery voltage till it warms up to 150 degrees t...

Re: Flashpro and evap shut valve

*update* I made a new "hybrid" calibration and made sure every sector from my "map based" tune was copied over that I could and the fuel tank now vents and works as it should and the car picked up a good amount of low end and throttle response, I am in process of converting my fr...

Re: Flashpro and evap shut valve

A little update. I had a friend come over and I tested his car as well. his car does the same thing on flashpro, however his fuel cap is not giving in and allowing pressure to equalize and the tank is staying sucked in (collapsed) the whole time the engine is running, turn the car off and the tank e...

Flashpro and evap shut valve

Hello all. I think I may have stumbled upon a major flaw that is causing me some issues. Car: 08 civic si Flashpro manager 1.5.3 (but been doing it long before this version) sense I have added flashpro to the car (almost a year ago) I have noticed that every morning as the car is warming up after a ...

Re: Map fuel tables and disable AFM

ok, so I tried it tonight... I copied all my values over to a new afm cal, I did the fuel, ignition, vtc, over run, cold start, throttle, basically everything, took the car for a few spins while data logging and the car felt weaker, the a/f was the same weather using a afm or map cal and the ignitio...

Re: Map fuel tables and disable AFM

opps, my bad. Car is a 08 civic si and I am currently on a street and dyno tuned Map only calibration, I street tuned the car for drivablity then put it on a dyno for WOT tuning. what I want to do is transfer all of my values (fuel/ ignition/ over run/ cold start/ ect) over to a "new" AFM ...
