Re: Throttle Change Enrichment/Enleanment
And here is the same function relabeled to accommodate both Enrichment/Enleanment. See if you guys agree/disagree. void dTPS_FUN_00050f3c(void) { short wVar2; int extraout_r0; uint Z; int dTPS_Applied; bool dTPS_Enrichment/Enleanment; word wVar1; short sVar2; TransientTps *struct_dTPS; struct_dTPS =...

Re: Throttle Change Enrichment/Enleanment
Also, another point of contention for anyone not versed in reading source code, understand that these tables affect both TipIn and TipOut. Therefore, the naming convention used by Hondata is inherently misleading. These tables affect both positive and negative Throttle Change. So just calling them T...

Throttle Change Enrichment/Enleanment
Hello, I am a customer of FlashPro circa 2014. I also have reverse engineered a BMW MS41 ECU to define most relevant tables as well as written custom firmware to add functionality such as native WidebandO2 integration, FlexFuel, BoostControl, Speed Density, etc. If you have any further questions abo...

[S2000] secondary O2 sensor heater disable
Saw this in the Release Notes for v3.7.3:
[S2000] Added secondary O2 sensor heater disable and P2270/P2271 disable.
When should we use this option instead of the existing checkbox for "Secondary O2 Enabled"?

Re: Hondata Mobile Apps
This little sub-$10 app is money well spent, for me. It's fully configurable in terms of gauges and getting 8 to fit per page is good use of space. Easily swipable to another 8 + 8. The different gauge layouts are sensible for different types of data. Also nice that I can label them as I please. Cou...

Re: S2000 2007 AP2 Asia
Can you swap the fully enclosed stock intake back on for a test? I have heard a report of a user fixing his 'false knock' issue by switching back to a stock airbox.

Re: AF.COR still for s2000 or only for civic?
OK, thanks. Is the standard AF accurate enough to tune Open Loop fueling? Would love to keep it simple and not have to integrate a Wideband O2.

Re: AF.COR still for s2000 or only for civic?
Sorry for asking the same question in a different way. I want to know the difference between AF, AF.Cor, and a 'true' Wideband O2 reading, for an S2000. How does the standard AF readout for an S2000 compare to a properly functioning Wideband O2 during AFR during Open Loop fuel tuning? Is it so far o...

The Low and High fuel tables are dependent on which camshaft profile is currently active. And guess what dictates that... Yeah, it's VTEC...

Re: K20z3 shoot flames
To get exhaust pops/burbles, you have to keep the fuel on and retard timing for a short while after lifting throttle. That's basically what the Jaguar engineers do on their F-Type. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WsUsno-Mv2E While the ability to leave fuel on for a while after throttle lift is defin...

Re: AFR peak at 4900 RPM
I'm looking at 2:18 in your v13 datalog and I see the issue you're talking about at 4900RPM. All modern ECUs will reduce injector pulsewidth to account for the Evaporative Emissions Charcoal Canister Purge Valve activating. So in anticipation of additional fuel vapor, the ECU will reduce IPW to try ...

Re: False knock or not?
To confirm, 'Knock Sensitivity' has no effect on the calculation of Knock Control or Knock Counts. The help file is wrong. There are no currently defined tables that govern how to tune what the ECU thinks is Knock. 'Knock Sensitivity' may modify the multiplication of 'Knock Control' and 'Knock Retar...

Try adjusting the small hex screw at the throttle body. You may need to increase or decrease minimum plate angle.

Re: False knock or not?
The real issue is the increased mechanical noise from the engine. Increase the knock sensitivity tables where you see the knock control increasing until the knock control stays around 60%. The problem I see is that you are getting knock readings at low load and 3600 rpm, where the knock sensitivity...
