Re: questions/concerns about extra wires inside Koro ecu
Adjusting gear comp made shifts a lot better. while driving this morning, I had the problem arise again, and was able to repeat it over and over. I noticed my temp was above 200, and my tps wasn't reading at the lower level where the throttle is barely open. Under those conditions the car would acce...

What type of TPS are you using? Just throwing an idea out there, the TPS may have a worn section in the resistor pad that could cause it to read wrong, which could cause this.

Re: questions/concerns about extra wires inside Koro ecu
i did not mean to solely place blame on the ecu. I did not think the fuel gauge signal came from the ecu, however I thought it may be a symptom of failing sender unit or questionable fuel pump assembly, or water corrosion in the connectors or wiring. - 2002 Honda Civic DX - Modifications that may af...

questions/concerns about extra wires inside Koro ecu
I was looking at images of kpro ecus and I noticed that none of the images I saw had extra wires soldered on the board. I'm concerned that my ecu could be crippled from a loose wire. I've never put much thought into it until recently when I blew a motor and replaced it with another and had similar i...

Re: Question ? KAL
Im no authority but there is several calibrations included with kmanager when you install it. They are in the 'c:\program files\kmanager\calibrations' folder. I think there is a calibration made for the same mods in there. The calibrations are all labeled plainly.

Re: request help reviewing/tuning k20a2
I appreciate the feedback. I understand. Could someone send me a calibration based on my mods? I would be interested in a separate map geared solely towards fuel efficency in a daily driven, stop and go scenario. I throw newspapers every night for a living. I drive about 90 to 100 miles per day. If ...

Re: request help reviewing/tuning k20a2
The new hall effect tps is great. I still have that noise though, perhaps a valve lash adjustment will solve that.
I plan to drop the intake cam of a k20z3 in my head when I adjust the valve lash. Is there a recommendation for a different calibration?
Idle fluctuations were due to vacumn leak.

Re: CIVIC CTR EU K20A2 good map for CAI/catback ?
Its what im using and its been working since I got my kpro. Very similar mods. Every car is different and I honestly know next to nothing about tuning but my engine hasnt exploded yet. And I go full throttle and go redline fairly often. I really dont think I have much to complain about as far as mid...

Re: Euro EP3 Stock Calibration.
Are you sure you have k20a2 and not k20a or k20a3? If you are sure you have k20a2, and if its anything like the usa k20a2 then you dont have itr cams. Theres probably not much difference between a2 cams and itr cams but there is some, and you could be running leaner or richer and you could have diff...

Re: request help reviewing/tuning k20a2
I have a theory that it could be related to my tps by chance, on most of the datalogs I saw knock when there was sudden variation in the tps, where I remember seeing it in the log was at higher rpm between gear shifts but my tps seems to cause the worst problems at low part throttle, it will buck a ...

I believe there is a dyno nearby but I feel like its geared towards domestics, but I guess I could give them a call. I would really like to learn to tune it myself...Spunkster wrote:I highly recommend you get this professionally dyno tuned.

I have two other extended datalogs but something refuses to let me upload them, one is over 8mb.
