Euro (uk) fn2 calibrations
Are there any good base cailbrations for uk fn2 with light breathing mods? I.e) race manifold, stock exhaust, hondata modded airbox with k&n filter and tegiwa lower resonator pipe replacement. Options are limited in flashpro for euro fn2 base calibrations, and the group n doesn't appear to be an...

Re: High speed ignition tables
Also, for deceleration conditions from high speed/rpm, which ignition table is used- high or low? As the throttle is shut but rpm high?

Re: High speed ignition tables
Yeah just the high speed tables, the low speed tables already have much less advance values. I was hoping to reduce the engine braking effect, which was a noticeable reduction, and would be to my preference on track-my worry is whether this reduction in ignition advance in the first two columns, wou...

Re: High speed ignition tables
So if you lower the high vacuum (low load) cells to less advance/what would be the effect? Would there be any harm to the engine?
I have briefly tried less advance in these cells and found it much nicer to drive at lower speed/partial throttle, with no noticeable negative effect at high speed/revs.

High speed ignition tables
I'm curious, after looking at my calibration a few others including kmanager base maps, I notice it seems to be normal to have high ignition values in the low load/high vacuum columns, and lower end of the table. Talking about 40-42 for most of these sites. What is the reasoning for this seemingly a...

Re: Jrsc Euro ctr surging/fuel on closed throttle
Update, Yesterday I changed the overrun cut offs to 15,10,10,36 on both tables (note: on my cut off tables the boxes on the right are 8000rpm-as opposed to 3000rpm that are in most calibrations I've seen) My thinking behind the high number at the end (36kpa at 8000rpm) is to try and get the graph li...

Re: Jrsc Euro ctr surging/fuel on closed throttle
Thermostat changed and cooling system gone through again, still sits at a steady 172-174. The thermostat o.e from Honda is rated at 172, therefore it is running bang on Honda spec. Without blocking up radiators and other such bodge up methods, it's never going to run much hotter with the o.e Honda c...

Re: Jrsc Euro ctr surging/fuel on closed throttle
Thanks for the input, To clear a couple of points-here in the uk we have the PRA narrowband ecu hence the afrcmd/afr. I have today ordered another new thermostat in a quest to get the ECT to the 180-190 that hondata seem to favour. It's seems the opening temp is rated at 172 alledegally so my 'warme...

Re: Jrsc Euro ctr surging/fuel on closed throttle
100% o.e Honda thermostat straight from the dealer, picked up and fitted by myself, so unless there are different rated o.e Honda ones then it's just whatever the standard temp is.
I will remove and check it anyhow now and probably just replace it again.

Re: Jrsc Euro ctr surging/fuel on closed throttle
Datalog below, as suggested.
It does seem a long time to get up there, however ambient is quite low here and it was just idling. Interested to see your thoughts

Re: Jrsc Euro ctr surging/fuel on closed throttle
Ok, to follow up I monitored ECT this morning on a drive, and as seen above 170 it's where it sits whilst moving. If I park and idle afterwards it will reach 180 in a minute or so. Given that the ECT warms quick until 170 the thermostat is functioning as expected so I can't explain the low temp. I c...

Re: Jrsc Euro ctr surging/fuelling on closed throttle
In a couple of other datalogs-the highest ECT is 170, and all datalogs are after driving for a good period of time. I will check later and look at the temp, and will see if it gets hotter stood still after a drive (no air flow through rad). It seems a good starting point, appreciate the input. What'...

Re: Jrsc Euro ctr surging/fuel on closed throttle
I have tried changing overrun cut-offs to 15 across all, which had no change. One thing I was curious about-in the various kpro calibrations (within kmanager), the table range goes up to 3000rpm, where my table goes to 8000? The coolant temp I did wonder about, I removed a spoon low temp thermostat ...

Jrsc Euro ctr surging/fuel on closed throttle
Hi, New to the forum but had my Honda a couple of years- could really use some help with my problem as it is driving me mad currently. I have a uk 2003 civic type r, JRSC, RC650 injectors, Toda Race Header, Fujitsubu exhaust, Gruppe M Induction, Kpro v1, tuned by a very experienced and trusted tuner...
