Re: Help with car bogging during WOT

Update: issue seems to be resolved. I ended up changing the original TPS sensor to an Acuity. I noticed in the datalogs, when the bogging happened, the TPS dropped below -10. I ended up changing the TPS and servicing my TB. Car is driveable again!

Re: Help with car bogging during WOT

That should not have anything to do with this. Thanks! So it looks like I have another colleague on ClubRSX experiencing similar issues and getting the same symptoms. He's running kpro v1 and attributed it to the older version of kpro. Do you think if I upgrade to kpro v4, this will rectify my issu...

Re: Help with car bogging during WOT

Another thought... I deleted my power steering in 2017. I still have the OEM rack, but the PS pressure switch is not connected to anything. Will this cause a problem? I reviewed my datalogs and it doesn't seem to be, but figured it's worth asking. I went back and verified connections to ECU are soli...

Re: Help with car bogging during WOT

I would suggest that you try your ECU in a different vehicle to see if the problem follows the ECU or is only with your vehicle. Ugh... That's going to be tough. Not a lot of RSXs still around that I know locally, especially with my mods. I'm tuned for a K24a2 +JRSC (baseline). I guess you are sayi...

What is the serial number that is on the K-Pro board inside the ECU?
On ECU:
37820-PRB-A05
2068-503598-0L24

Hand writing next to above number is 230

On K-Pro board (K-Pro-III r19):

Silver sticker KP-Pro 11230

Re: Help with car bogging during WOT

GM, More information. I loaded an old tune (same as the one attached pre W/M injection) this morning and datalog. Car felt fine. I didn't get on it, turned off W/M, and just drove normal. I experienced the bog around 10 mins into the ride. Reviewing the datalog shows: Frame 3866 Rpm 3331 Map -5.6 A/...

Re: Tuning a JRSC K24a2 RSX

So after research and some tweaks, I settled on the following: Lower Boundary = 3000rpm @ 98kPa Upper Boundary = 5000rpm @ 87kPa Also, I noticed that my driving habits was the cause for poor gas mileage... I've been purposely spraying (i.e., hard acceleration to engage methanol injection) to reduce ...

Re: 2002 civic si hard acceleration issue

It sounds like your car is in limp mode... I highly recommend that you do not accelerate hard as that can cause damage and get your car re-tuned as soon as possible.

Re: Tuning a JRSC K24a2 RSX - update

Good Day, Quick update: Car is driving great with estimate 283whp/230wtq (without meth injection) and 301whp/231wtq (with meth injection) at 9psi @ 7600rpm. No real issues other than IATs climb pretty fast... So, I also noticed that I struggle to get 200 miles per tank, so I decided to tweak my VTEC...

Re: Tuning a JRSC K24a2 RSX

Safe I would set it to around 21 like you have it. Make sure you give the motor some time between pulls those IAT numbers will get ugly. Thanks! This is where I have it and I've since tuned with water/meth spraying. I also increased my AFR to 11.6 since I was running super rich. IATs spike at 150s ...

Re: Tuning a JRSC K24a2 RSX

UPDATE: I've done a ton of research and been self tuning for the past month. I answered my basic questions and have a better understanding on how to tune, so no need to address my original questions. The one thing I could not get was the IGN piece until I stumbled upon this today: http://hondata.net...

Re: Nitrous Control test

There is a pretty extensive DIY about this very topic on Clubrsx.com if you were not aware. I used that write up to install and configure water/methanol injection for my K24A2 JRSC RSX. Thanks for the reply! I was not aware of this. I went searching for it but it seems that clubrsx and family are g...
