Re: KManager V3.0.2

Is there any development to make lean protection work with the launch limiter without disabling lean protection? Adding a setting to where lean protection is enabled for vehicle specific speeds (i.e. having it come on only when the mph reaches 1mph and 100% tps and/or certain load settings would be ...

I believe it's on their list of things to add along with Lean protection, which would be a huge plus! I'm sure Doug and Derek are pretty busy every day getting all the flashpro's made.

It was done by a shop here, LHT along with the swap. The tune was included with the engine installation. What's wrong with the tune? I thought that only the secondary O2 CEL's were disabled since there is no secondary O2 in the car. It's a very generic tune. No lean protection, high cam angle table...

Re: Two questions regarding my KAL... idle and surging

The tune seems to be great at full throttle, made 230whp/160wtq with just IHE on a JDM K20A. Driveability is a different matter. The car is somewhat jerky at light throttle, say less than 5% TPS, it'll buck back and forth. The idle also goes down to about 1600 at first, then drops to 1200, and fina...

Just wanted to post up my clients situation. He ended up buying another throttle body and installing it. The problem is now completely gone. All maps (lower ignition and 14:7 af) work just fine.

My client is also experiencing this problem. We we're experiencing it at every light however richening the idle and playing the ignition timing in those proper columns have made it to the point it only does it once every start up and then it idles normal.

for some reason the datalog wont attach

Where are you sensors located? The Civic O2 sensor is in the stock bung of my DC header. PLX Sensor is about 1.5"-2.0" after the Stock sensor, also in my DC header. Both are before the flex pipe. I just did some datalogging and Civic Sensor was reading down to 11.49, while the PLX was rea...

Thank you for the responses. In your testing, how accurate is the Civic Wideband O2 sensor? I have a PLX M300 hooked up and and the PLX reads a fuel point higher than the oxygen sensor at high RPMs and WOT throttle. During closed loop, both sensors read close to 14.7. Thoughts? 1) What is the lowes...

thanks on the response guys. I found out that he had some skunk2 intake cam gears on there and I said those must be removed immediately and replace the map sensor just incase to ensure it is reading properly.

I've informed my client to do some inspections as well

The datalog does not match the calibration. There are several things to look at: - the fuel and ignition tables need tuning - there are spikes and lumps. - the cam angle tables need tuning - the low speed cam has a step at 128 kPa and the high speed cam angle table a dip at 7700 rpm - there is sign...

Cam timing not operating correctly

I'm doing a tune for my client and i realized that with all the low cam set to 30 degrees cam timing at full throttle, early in the rpm range it starts close to 50 and then finally reduces. Not sure why its doing this but i've attached a log and the 30 low cam map calibration. This also happened on ...

for some reason, the datalog doesn't read below 12:1 af. Is it possible for the ELD on the Civic Type-R's to have different ELD voltage?

K-pro allows for temp compensation (via IAT sensor) as well. Unfortunately, at this time, it does not have ECT Temperature. Maybe a rep from hondata (doug, derek, or javier) can chime in.
