Re: Misfiring when cold

I already bought the ID 1300x, will install them soon. The ID1700x have multiple problems running on Unleaded fuel. The idle AFR is never near where you set it. If the car idles at 13.3AFR next time you cold start it when its fully warmed the AFR drops to 12.5. Anything near 14AFR is causing rough id...

Re: fuel level gauge

Won't driving the tank completely empty risking of damaging my dual fuel pumps? That's my main concern No, you do not driving the tank completely empty! You misunderstood me! Drive the tank to 47-48 liters empty (50 liters fit in). So that still 2-3 liters are in the tank. That's enough for the cal...

Re: fuel level gauge

ID1700x injectors: -> Value 1587cc = 23L/100 km on the Dash 1. Did you drive the tank completely empty after making this change -> You have to drive the tank completely empty to get a usable value! Won't driving the tank completely empty risking of damaging my dual fuel pumps? That's my main concern

Is there any way to approximately calculate the fuel consumption and then change the values accordingly?
How can I know where to start?

Re: fuel level gauge

You can still use it, but you must realize that no new features are being added and we no longer support the race calibrations. I have ID1700x injectors and I changed all the values according to this thread but I am seeing around 23L/100km on the dash. The values I used for dash and fuel economy ta...

Re: Revs rising after engine mapping

Have you managed to eliminate the rev hang? Yes I have! Torque Developments International remapped my car for me and completely transformed it. The rev hang issue has gone, throttle response is superb, no more misfires and logs show no more detonation. They were extremely helpful and open, and had ...

Re: Misfiring when cold

Have you discussed this issue with your tuner? He said that the fuel injectors are just too big for my engine and Unleaded 100 fuel makes it even worst on these injectors. It could also be that because they're big it takes more time for them to respond to sudden throttle changes. I honestly don't k...

Misfiring when cold

I have a fully forged turbocharged FN2 and mainly during the warm up phase I'm experiencing misfires if I depress the throttle pedal more than slightly. When the car is warm the issue stops. As I am using Injector Dynamics ID1700x , I had to lower the target AFR because the car would misfire a lot i...

Re: AEM Wideband as primary

You cannot do this. It cannot run closed loop from anything but a factory O2 sensor. You need to keep the factory sensor connected and you can use one of the inputs listed in the calibration window under Lambda in the Closed Loop section to input the aftermarket wideband signal to the ECU for datal...

AEM Wideband as primary

I am trying to cancel the OEM primary O2 sensor and connect the AEM wideband (brown & white wires) to the factory O2 sensor blue plug on the car in order for the ECU to get the signal directly from the wideband but the flashpro manager doesn't read any value on idle. It keeps reading 14.7 AFR wi...

Tip In Fuel

Does the ECU continuously use the "Tip In Fuel ECT compensation" table and the "Tip In Fuel Throttle Compensation" table or is the "Tip In Fuel ECT compensation" only used during warming up? Thankss

Re: Overrun Injector Restart RPM (CUT)

I don't understand what you mean. The RPM cannot be lower than the recovery point, but not have hit the recovery point and still be in cutoff. If it is lower than the recovery point then it will no longer be in cutoff. I will try to explain it better. If I accelerate and let go of the throttle befo...

Overrun Injector Restart RPM (CUT)

In the help file I can see that the injectors switch off when the engine speed is higher than the cut table, and switch on again when the engine speed is below the recover table. What I don't understand is if the injectors still operate on overrun if the RPM is lower than the cut table's specific RP...
