Sounds like that skl got corrupted. Start with a new map and see what happens. It doesn't say in your post if you guys tried that or not.

Got it to work. Ws just messing around one day before the Fontana race. Set the COM port, then closed the application, then restarted it. Sure enough there it was.

Rule of thumb is about 1/2 degree of timing per pound of boost. You can go as much as 1 degree per pound of boost, but you have to remember/realize not to get to crazy with the timing. Be "conservative" becasue removing too much timing can start to melt the pistons.
