Was just wondering why the fan over ride was checked to come on at 100 degrees. Also, with the previous statements about the injectors, I would verify the offset for them as well when you get it retuned. You should be able to contact the manufacturer of the injectors to get some or all the numbers y...

Try D14 and keep it open loop. See what that does.

How is your throttle cable routed? Are there any sharp bends? Does the gas pedal seem to be "stiff" when you step on it? Did you buy the TB new or used? Did anyone set the TPS correctly to .4-.5 volts closed? Did you or anyone mess with the set screw under the throttle wheel (where the cab...

Sounds like that skl got corrupted. Start with a new map and see what happens. It doesn't say in your post if you guys tried that or not.

http://www.hondata.com/stech.html Read through here. Read books like Maximum Boost by Corky Bell. Play with the SManager on your computer before ever doing anything to your car, so you understand how the changes you make may alter things. It's like tattooing, you learn on your on car first, just as ...

CO2 is an awesome way to control the boost for you. Say you are at a high density altitude track, and the conditions are not very good (weather i.e.) you do a run look at the log and see you only made 65% of total target boost. Well let's just say that 65% was 23PSI and your target is 35PSI. Now you...

I agree. Not to mention, you can alter all the load points to what you want. So you can have the 5 bar with PSI load points that go only to 35 PSI as opposed to 60 PSI.

Got it to work. Ws just messing around one day before the Fontana race. Set the COM port, then closed the application, then restarted it. Sure enough there it was.

http://www.hondata.com/ecus.html 1. S200 is the blue interface box, and EPROM chip (29C256) that is used to change settings in the performance of the motor. The ECU will still have to be "socketed" to accept this set-up. Usually carries a charge for this to be done ($65-$80). 2. To "t...

Rule of thumb is about 1/2 degree of timing per pound of boost. You can go as much as 1 degree per pound of boost, but you have to remember/realize not to get to crazy with the timing. Be "conservative" becasue removing too much timing can start to melt the pistons.

Keyspan has a new part number out for the USB to serial adapter. It is the USA-19HS. It has replaced all the past -19 part numbers. I have found it NOT to work with my laptop (Compaq Presario V2000). None of the 8 COM ports would conncect to the logger. So I will be trying the PCMCIA to serial adapt...

You are actually doing yourself a big favor now. By purchasing the 1000cc's you have ensured yourself that you should meet the fuel flow demands on your motor shoudl you decide to turn the boost up from that 10-15 psi mark (which you will most likely want to do, seeing as it is never fast enough). S...
