Re: RPMs & Duty Cycle Lines on Graph Wavy in VTEC

From another forum, "The aftermarket distributors have poor cam/crank pick-ups in them plain and simple. Do they work, yes. Are the signals clean, no. You cannot really "see" cam or crank signals in the OEM based tuning systems, so you really have no idea what is going on. Crank relates to RPM trace...

RPMs & Duty Cycle Lines on Graph Wavy in VTEC

Hey guys I was wondering if anyone could give me some insight as to why I am recording a pull through VTEC & on the datalog it shows the lines for the RPM & Duty Cycle are wavy like something is no reading right. In my datalogs it is fine until I hit VTEC then the RPMS are not consistently going up,...

Re: VTEC coming in later than setting

Okay so I looked around on some other posts about the VTEC boundaries & now I understand what it means.

I am just still wondering why my VTEC came in at 5600 when both setting were at 5475 RPM?

VTEC coming in later than setting

Hey guys I just had some questions about the VTEC parameters. I have read the user guide a few times but it doesn't go too far in detail. Can someone explain the Upper & Lower Boundary parameters for VTEC? Does it matter if they are at the same rpm engagement point or should the lower boundary be lo...

What brand Jumper Harness? Even though it is brand new there could be a wiring mistake possibly in the jumper harness.

Fuel Change Estimated sometimes will not work

For some reason when I do some fine tuning using the Estimated Fuel Change function it will not work. It does work normally but it likes to pick & choose when it wants to work correctly. Instead of showing the normal (-1%) or (1%) it will not show any values, instead the map will just show all white...

Re: What engine "Load" is it when cranking or starting the engine?

The reason I was asking about this was because on my tune it was way too rich in some spots. When the temperature outside
was very hot & I shut the car off it had trouble starting because the map was so rich.

I readjusted my map accordingly & have not had a start up issue since.

Thanks

Thanks for the screenshot man!

I will put these dead times in when I get home from work & see how my setup likes it.

Re: Stock 93-95 Prelude Si VTEC injectors?

Can you post what you dead times were so I can compare them to mine? Since I am using the same exact injectors as well.

Re: CL1 Euro R w/ Hondata

Yeah you will need to get a 2 wire IACV from a 92-95 H22. You will also need to get the adapter plate from Rosko Racing (he has the expertise on these engines). But, is this in the actual CL1 or is it swapped into another car?
