Re: Intercooler calibration?

The improved efficiency intercooler will improve intake air temp when it passes the IAT at the throttle body, which in turn will allow more aggressive ignition timing (colder air=harder to knock/detonate) so timing will advance, and therefore, you can make more power. The Hondata maps (and stock Hon...

Re: 2018 Accord Rev hang disable issue

I have this issue on the 1.5T Civic Sport. I have found that using the actual rev hang mod or checkbox will mess up cruise control pretty badly, but if you manually change the stock values down to the minimum (10) in all gears but keep overrun enabled, the rev hang is way better than stock, and crui...

Re: FlashProManager 3.2.2

Fast work. Time for the dumb question that needs to be asked: Will the updated oil dilution binaries work with vehicles that have not been updated by the dealer? Thanks guys. FlashProManager 3.2.2 has been released. FlashPro firmware updated to version 153 [2016+ Turbo Civic] Added support for new m...

Re: Oil Dilution Updates

Well, either Hondas have started to produce their own oil, or there's an awful lot of gas in that oil pan after 7k miles.... IMG9500851.jpg Can definitely tell you the dipstick smelled like gas, and the oil was thin, but hot 0W-20 isn't exactly molasses so I can't speak for any major loss of viscosi...

Re: Oil Dilution Updates

For everyone's information, They just extended the recall to include all 2018s as well. So my car shall not be seeing the dealer for a while. Even though it has experienced the exact issue they're trying to fix.... Change your oil, guys, especially if you're seeing some chilly temps this winter. I g...

Re: What should Long term trim be at

If the LAF is reading that the exhaust gas is too rich (showing Air Fuel ratios less than 14.7:1), the short term fuel trim goes negative, giving less fuel. If the short term stays negative for enough time, the long term will start to drop as well. In the datalog I posted, when they started to drop,...

Re: What should Long term trim be at

I've experienced the same thing, pretty consistently with every flash. +6 or +9psi. I have a 2018 Sport Hatch MT. I've attached a datalog from a 6psi flash and you can watch the LT Fuel Trim drop from 0% at ignition (fresh reflash), to -10% after 20 mins of driving (mostly highway on cruise control)...

Re: '18 Hatch Sport MT - 93 Octane in Ohio

Thanks for the response,

Knock Control is usually low 50s to 60%. It's a fun way to figure out which gas around here is junk. Definitely not all "93"

'18 Hatch Sport MT - 93 Octane in Ohio

Hi all, I'm having a blast with the +9 map on my Sport MT, but I've got a nagging feeling I could get a little more out of it. Obviously the base maps were made with 91 Octane. In Ohio, I always run 93. So, I'm wondering what little tweaks I could make to get that little extra grunt (as if it needs ...

Use MAP to Determine WOT Anyone?

I've been reading through the manual on the flashpro and came across the option to use manifold pressure to Determine WOT instead of throttle pedal. They say it's a "must" for forced induction cars, but it's not checked on the base Hondata maps. Has anyone tried this on their 1.5Ts? Any difference, ...

Re: 2018 Sport Hatch 6MT - 9psi hesitation

I flashed it last week and have been driving it daily to and from work. No modifications other than the flash. Also, I did catch that it's showing Cat Temp at a constant 32°. I wasn't sure if that was by design for extra fuel, or if it's a fault. It could explain the rich condition. But I think that...

Re: 2018 Sport Hatch 6MT - 9psi hesitation

Well, I may have captured it. I tried to flag the data in the Graph in two spots: 07:22 - Hesitation felt in 2nd gear at WOT. Looks like a large difference between pedal and plate, and a large chunk of timing pulled out. 15:49 - Almost certainly clutch slippage. Steady speed, then WOT in 6th, rpms r...

2018 Sport Hatch 6MT - 9psi hesitation

Hi! I was wondering if anyone running the baseline 9psi flash (non CARB) has experienced an issue with the engine seeming to hesitate and stumble under high load and high rpm? In 3rd gear, if I go WOT and pull to redline, after 6k, it starts to hesitate and lose power. It really feels like the throt...
