I just ordered a Hondata Intake manifold gasket to try and get my charge temps down . Well i hooked my lighter up to constant . seemed to work ok to keep the burner on . i tried the rom emulator and it wouldnt work . i took it out and noticed a pin broke off somehow . damnit, :cry: . im gonna resocket it today and see if i can get it working . reburning after changes everytime sucks ...

I was told for the Rom emulator to work correctly it much have a constany power source so you dont lose your info when you shut the car off? But if your using the Rom Emulator you wouldnt really need to shut the car off to burn the rom would you? Doesnt the Rom emulator go in the ecu then connect to...

the greay wire is for the narrow band and the white wire is for the wideband . im just wiring the wideband and keeping it in wideband all the time . but supposedly the besat way to do it is to have a switch and switch it from narrow band to wideband . i guess its personal pref really. supposedly in ...

that answers alot, thanks. thats what i weas looking for so realistically i can leavethe PLX wired in wideband mode all the time and set the Hondata to do its closed under 650mbar and open above that , the PLX will read correcly both ways, but the Hondalogger will only read correctly when in open lo...

ok thats how i was understanding it too . are there any adverse affects from not putting the map back in closed loop other than economy? I was told once that if the tune was done correctly closed loop really shouldnt be needed to make the changes because it will be dead on? correct? the car doesnt g...

I just got a PLX M300 today to use for my tuning. I understand how to get everything working except for the wideband/narrowband outputs?
