Re: 2015 civic si

Yeah I've had to pull a little bit of timing since then for the knock. But I'll do what I can to keep it in there safely. Part of it is lugging it down to 2000rpms, makes it feel slower. Make some hits from like 4500 like in your first datalog and see what you think.

Re: 2015 civic si

Gotcha. Intake temps were in the low 100’s, which it starts pulling fuel and timing at that point to keep it happy. Not sure what they were in the first one but I can check. Either way it’s holding a lot of timing. Once we get it sorted I’ll have you start making fourth gear pulls to make sure you d...

Re: 2015 civic si

That one looked really good Tommy. Had one knock up top where it will normally knock if it does.

Here is the next one for you. I made some small fueling adjustments and the ignition for the knock.

Re: 2015 civic si

Doing more datalogs with the same calibration won’t help. Give me a minute and I’ll go over this one.

Zip files won’t open in Flashpro. So that won’ help either.

Re: 2015 civic si

Sounds good Tommy. Yeah try to lug it down as close to 2000 as you can in each datalog so we can get as much of the fueling dialed in as possible. I probably should have started you on the base pedal map. I may do that from now on, then offer the sport pedal map later on like I normally do. I don't ...

Re: 2015 civic si

Hi Tommy, Yeah it can take a little getting used to the pedal map. But once you do, it's really gets good. We can always go back to another base pedal map that I have. I put the sport pedal map in because the last 10-15 9th gens I've tuned all liked the sport pedal map. But keep me in the loop, we c...

Re: Altitude with stock map?

Do you have datalogs you can post from each climate, that show richness on one and lean on the other. As well as knock. Those would help determine a few things. Also, if you can post your calibration file that would help as well. I would be interested in seeing your fuel tables, the fact that it's l...

For once they aren’t worried about speeders. Haha.

I PM’d you my email. Send it over and I’ll take a look at it.

At least 15 minutes please. Want to make sure we get the part throttle fueling good to.

Re: 06 SI /W CL7 Euro R K20a swap

Yeah overall it looked great actually, I was surprised how close it is. It's a proven basefile for 8th gens, but with your engine I wasn't too sure how close it would be. That knock you had was one area I focused on in your first datalog, it's sensitive there for some reason so we'll keep an eye on ...

Re: 06 SI /W CL7 Euro R K20a swap

Sounds good, I set the limiter for 8000 on this one to be safe. The info you found is the same I found, so that's good.

Yeah take it for a quick trip, nothing too crazy, plus the WOT pull in third gear from 2000-8000 so we can see the WOT fueling.

We'll see how it looks.

Re: 06 SI /W CL7 Euro R K20a swap

Interesting, the tune actually looked pretty good honestly. I may not have needed to make a file for you. I went ahead and did anyways. All of the knock was pretty much in one area. So depending on what happened with the excessive knocks drive you did, maybe it went through that area a ton. The area...

Re: 06 SI /W CL7 Euro R K20a swap

Yikes, haha, yeah if you're driving a built EvoX it probably feels terrible. You put in the 06 stock tuned map in there right? Do you have the datalog from the other night? I'm guessing it shows some knock on that datalog as well. I can build you a basemap to get start on tonight. I don't have any 0...

Re: 06 SI /W CL7 Euro R K20a swap

Yeah that is very bad. Not the end of the world perhaps, but something needs to be looked at ASAP. You didn't datalog it though? Does the car seem to drive okay all things considered? What octane fuel are you running? What calibration are you driving on? What mods have you done, intake and exhaust o...

Re: 2015 civic si

Sounds good. Yeah just do the best you can with the terrain you have. Like I mentioned before, we won't go crazy overboard with things right now while you work towards getting the Skunk intake. We can definitely get some more power for you and smooth out the experience, then once you get the intake ...
