Re: Need help with my first 8th Gen SI K24A2 (EFICU...preemptive thanks a ton!)

Yeah it's either a bad sensor, or you have a defouler on the primary o2 sensor. If there is a defouler on the primary o2 it will never get a proper reading. The primary o2 must be threaded into the exhaust stream with no spacer whatsoever. Don't beat on it in the meantime, the ECU has no idea what's...

Re: 06 TSX Calibration Check

The datalog looks pretty good. Had a couple knock on a fifth gear pull We'll see how it looks in the next one. Part throttle can take a lot of abuse, when in WOT though things can get bad a lot quicker. The real problem is you won't normally get a check engine light, so it's something you have to da...

Re: Need help with my first 8th Gen SI K24A2 (EFICU...preemptive thanks a ton!)

You have an issue with the primary o2 sensor. You need to address that before you can tune it. The ECU doesn't know what to do because of the error with the primary o2 sensor.

Yeah it looks pretty good. I've gone in and blended out the cam angle mapping. Vtec looks to be happy at 4300. Take this one for a spin and see what you think. Make the same type of datalog and driving stye, but feel free to have some extra fun with it.

Re: 2014 Civic Si Tune Help

Overall it looks good. It's just weird how the idle fuel is trailing off so bad. Make another datalog when you can and we'll see how it looks.

Re: Help with tuning 2013 Civic Si 3.5" SRI

It looks like something isn't quite right. Either the MAF isn't getting a good reading, which is possible with that intake, or something else. With a bunch of fuel added the AFR is still lean. Could be a bad primary 02 sensor. But I haven't seen that many o2 sensor failures on 9th gens.

Made some small adjustments for the knock again. See how this one looks.

Yeah that's fine. I don't think I'm going to take on any new tunes any more, but the guys I've worked with I will stick around for a little while.

Re: please help

It's possible, but hard to say. The stiffer mounts can cause some false knock. Make another datalog when you can and let's see how it looks.

Yeah I just looked at the other datalog and it didn't look as good as the one I saw did the other day. Let's see how this one looks and we'll go from there.

Re: tune for completely fully bolt on 8th gen si

Yeah my concern is the validity of the RDXs. If they are fake it will be impossible to tune it. I can start you on a basemap and see how it looks just to determine the injectors performance. From my recent experience with some fake ones I can probably tell pretty quick. Then we can decide how to tun...

Re: Need help with my first 8th Gen SI K24A2 (EFICU...preemptive thanks a ton!)

There is no link to the post for the calibration you are running, so give us more context on that or post the calibration so I can see which one you're running. Also, posting a datalog would help see how it looks. When you say it's still rough, some elaboration there would be good. But a datalog is ...

Re: Need tune for 8th gen civic si with k24a2

So the only real concern then with the 50* VTC is the cam can over rotate from time to time when the ECU runs a cleaning cycle for the vtec valve. It would have been a better plan to get a mechanically limited VTC gear at 40*. I don't think you'll have an issue, but it is possible. With the Type S p...

We might be on the right track now. Everything looked pretty good there. Go ahead and make another one when you take it out again. We'll see how it looks.
