Re: Does Boost By Gear Limit Work as It Is Intended for the CVT?

Any one of the TC tables, boost by gear tables, torque tables could be limiting boost. They are not target boost tables, but all are limits. The best approach is to reduce table, one at a time, by about 10% and then see which table drops your boost. Be careful with the CVT. I observed your competit...

Does Boost By Gear Limit Work as It Is Intended for the CVT?

Hi Hondata/Spunkster, I recently had issue hitting my boost target. I set TCMPR of 2.5 kPA at 5500 RPM. BP CMD at 5500 RPM match my TCMPR but MAP and BP only reached 21 PSI. My understanding is that 2.500 kPA TCMPR should equal with 22 PSI of MAP or BP. I did changed my Boost By Gear Limit. I change...

Re: 2016 International Civic 1.5T Knock Sensitivity Table

dear arnold, some ecu has that table and some ecu doesnt have. i guess it depends on the ecu capability. by the way you should be carefull with knock sensitivity tables. if you make very much desensitive, you can run with lots of knock without knowing it. I asked this question because these tables ...

2016 International Civic 1.5T Knock Sensitivity Table

I updated Flashpro from 3.6.2.0 to 3.6.3.0 and updated to 3.6.4.0 a day after 3.6.3.0. I found out in the 3.6.4.0 Flashpro 2 new tables under Knock Control: Knock sensitivity low cylinder 1-4 and Knock sensitivity low cylinder 2-3. I know these tables were available in SI calibration but they weren'...

In that case, shouldn't CR-V torque limiter set with 250 nm max torque in mind instead of 260-280 nm in +6 PSI CR-V CVT calibration?

Yes, I understand that K.Control is what matters but I’m just afraid that my knock sensor goes bad and the sensor is not working properly. Thus, the zero knock count.

Zero Knock Counts: Is There Something Wrong With My Car?

I recently swap my Civic 1.5T turbocharger with CR-V/Civic SI turbocharger. Knock counts went crazy the first 2 days of turbocharger swap and I made a few revisions with the calibration. I tested the latest revision this morning and I was expecting maximum of 4 knock counts in 40 minutes drive, whic...

So I take it you are running the final tune with the 300nm torque? That said, any issues/concerns? Cheers! Ryan No issue and no c...

Another thing to note is Torque limit also limit ignition timing in the background according to Hondata online help.

Re: How to Tune Ignition Timing?

Hi Hondata Team, I experiment more with Knock Ignition Limit table so I can increase power without heavily reliant on TCMPR as suggested by Doug in Hondata Flashpro YouTube Civic 1.5T tuning quick guide. My understanding of ignition tuning means making changes to the Knock Ignition Limit. Increasing...

Re: Torque Table Limit Vs Dyno CVT Correlation

Hi arnoldod, Based upon the reply from Hondata, this may confirm my previous assumptions that (if in fact) your torque limit is set to 250nm max and you are achieving much higher torque output on the dyno you have either 1) managed to override the torque limit table with other settings in the tune,...

Re: Torque Table Limit Vs Dyno CVT Correlation

Dyno reads differently. Max torque from my dyno plot reads 303 Nm so this is within margin of error. My wild guess probably the torque now measures around 315 Nm at 4000 RPM.

Re: Torque Table Limit Vs Dyno CVT Correlation

Here's the latest dyno sheet. https://i.ibb.co/NKrqxSY/IMG-4026.jpg This is torque table from my calibration: https://i.ibb.co/GdGsfMv/Torque-table-20-4-PSI.png The way the entire ECU logic and wastegate calculate torque is different vs. dyno. We can set TCMPR very high, 2.7 bar, for example, and th...

Re: +6 Base Cal 1.5T CVT Subtle "surging" while under acceleration

Hi Arnoldod! Thank you for the reply. So when you were performing the dyno tune here: https://www.hondata.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=106098#p106098 You do not believe that it was the torque limiter that correlated with the actual dyno output? I have seen a couple other threads with dyno results show...
