OK... next question. When I road tune do I want to put it in open loop or leave it in closed loop.
I figure I should put it in open loop, road tune/datalog and adjust as needed. After all adjustments put it back in closed loop and go on my merry way.
Does that sound right?

After Tune
If I get tuned, is it better to leave the ECU in OPEN LOOP or CLOSED LOOP during normal driving after the tune when I take it home? Do I want the ECU to manage my setup or do I want the maps that have been tuned to take precedence?

I know that Hondata recommended that I not revert back to 1226 but I had to see if it was something wrong with the car. After a reload of 1226 and a reload of the kal... no idle problems. I then reloaded 1227 and the kal and the idle problem resurfaced. Not sure what to make of that but I hope Honda...

I had the same thing happen today. I updated to 1227 and when I made a few corrections to the parameters and tables my idle started acting funny. The car warms up and idles around 1100-1300 RPMs but the idle is set at 850 RPMs. If I give it some gas it increases then decreases in a wave type of patt...

KNOCK
I tried to eliminate the knock in my engine but instead of going down the count went up.

Two datalogs in 3rd gear and the calibation are included. Could someone take a look and see where I messed up at, also do I have belt slippage and how do I Tell.

Fuel Trim
I followed the training video to adjust my Long Term fuel trim but I still am not sure why my Short Term fuel trim is high. Right now my Long Term fuel trim reads 0 (About 15 minutes of driving). When I stop and let the car idle to check on the computer I see that my short term fuel trim is about -2...
