It is best to go ahead and remove them.
Thanks. I just pulled my ECU and it looks like that's already been taken care of. Thanks again for the suggestion!

Re: Wideband issues

For my own knowledge, when do you decide to remove the two resistors from the ECU if using D10 as the wide band input? Go ahead and pull them out, or look for some kind of symptom?

Re: Wideband on AN1, AF shows a different value

Thanks. I'll get rid of the narrow band signal, then. Should I split the wideband signal wire so that it runs to both AN1 and D10, or are you saying I should just go straight to D10 and not worry about connecting the wideband to an analog input? What is the benefit of using D10 over D14 (I'm just cu...

Wideband on AN1, AF shows a different value

I'm running an S300v3 on a P28 ECU with a PLX SM-AFR wideband. I have the wideband signal for the PLX wired into AN1 on Hondata and the narrow band signal from the PLX wired into D14 on the ECU. I'm currently running in open loop and my PLX is grounded at the thermostat. On the "Analog Inputs" tab I...

S300 Socketing Question

To alleviate the worry of lifting the tracks on the ECU when removing the socket [for those of us who are S200 users], is it possible to simply put the male pins into the pre-existing socket?

The car is a 91, which means it's OBD-0. You don't need any hardware or software to read the codes on this car. Is the car's check engine light [CEL] on when the car is running? If it is, peel back the carpet in the passenger front floorboard under the dash. There should be a metal panel in the floo...

Not sure if this is what you're asking, but all Honda ECU's I've worked with [with the exception of DPFI] have a separate firing circuit for each of the four injectors, and fires them independently. Firing all four injectors simultaneously would be wasteful, as one cylinder would get proper fueling,...

Is the AC compressor actually kicking on when it idles up or no? My car was doing this when I blew my AC condenser fan fuse...the engine would idle up when I turned on the AC but the compressor clutch was never engaging...so I was not blowing cold air and had a very high idle.
