Hondata K-Pro Hardware Upgrade

Can I send my KPro PRA ECU (serial# 01445) from UK to get the KPro hardware upgrade? Is there any benefit other than onboard datalogging?

ONBOARD DATALOGGING?

Hi I have the PRA K-PRO, serial number 01445, purchased in November 2007. Onboard datalogging does not seem to work. I assume from my serial number that onboard datalogging is not available. I would have thought from the date of purchase that I should have a newer one capable of onboard datalogging....

Take one step back. What are you trying to do? If you're trying to datalog a wideband from the ELD then in settings set the wideband input to the ELD. The setting on the Parameters window is no longer used. Do you have any plans to allow the wideband input using ELD input for closed loop operation ...

Can anybody confirm this: In the innovate LC-1 manual is stated that it can operate as narowband lambda (simulated from WB) on output1 while output2 gives the WB lambda readings. So I'm thinking ... this way you could use LC-1 as primary lambda for PRA ecu with wideband dataloging (ELD pin) and sec...

Yup I always run 99RON as well (Vpower) I'll let you know if changing my header, intake or valve clearances make any difference. What header are you getting? I've just ordered a Mugen one so can get MOTs easily. Hopefully be here and fitted in 3 weeks. Remap mid April. I'll be avoiding full throttl...

only way to find out if its a "phantom" knock is to use the same tune and run your gas level to E and fill up with 100 octane gas and then datalog again.. What difference will that make? I always fill with 99 RON plus octane booster so fuel will most likely always be at least 100 octane. ...

I have the same problem. Retarding the ignition didn't seem to stop the knock but I think it was reduced. I haven't managed to datalog with my latest calibration yet but will post the results when I do. Could it just be phantom knock as fonz600 mentioned in this post? http://hondata.net/forum/viewto...

Yeah, I've tried retarding ignition by 2 degrees then 4 degrees and still get knock. I'm sure I notice a drop in power when reducing it.

I'm just going to hope the engine lasts until I get a 4-2-1 header and remap!

your stock header maybe contributing to your knocks b/c of alot of backpressure... 1 thing I wuld try if i was you is trying adding some octane booster or if you can, fill up on a few gallons of 100 octane gas and mixing it in with your normal gas.. If it stops knocking, you know the ignition value...

Re: Somewhat annoying bug w/k-manager user interface

I've been bitten a few times by an annoying bug w/k-manager. The problem appears to be that the save dialog/window pops up on whatever screen k-manager was originally opened up on. This is a problem because I use dual head monitors at work. I might have k-pro on the second monitor, then I'll move i...
