Would a map of 90 kpa be too high for the closed loop max? My main concern is that we need to tune for a richer mixture as the manifold pressure increases. As the pressure goes up, we want to tune the AF ratio closer to 13.0-13.5 for the NA tables. So at what point do we need to tune towards 13.0-13...

Does K Manager work on a Macbook running Windows?

I'm thinking about getting a MacBook or MacBook Pro. You are able to run Windows on it. Has anyone been able to successfully run Kmanager on a Mac while running in Windows mode?

If so, have there been any problems or side effects?

Thanks!

Is the turbo timer hooked up to the stock ECU?
I would try taking that out of the equation first.

So I am assuming that I should try to tune my idle AF ratio in open loop mode to be 13.1? Also, I've heard that I should keep increasing ignition at idle. What is an unsafe ignition value at idle? How high can I push it? Right now I believe I have it at 25 degrees. I was going to try to play with t...

I also have the same problem where the idling is not stable... Is your car stalling/shutting off? What injectors are you running? Im running stock injectors... I have an auto and in "D", instead of the idle being 600 it fluctuates either from 750 to 600 constantly or dips down below 500 a...

I saw this information in the KPro Dual Adapter S2000 instructions: Idle speed is controlled by the stock ECU. If the ignition and fuel as tuned by the K-Pro is not correct you may experience rough/low idles and stalls. Larger injectors which do not atomize as well may contribute to a rougher idle. ...

I am also having the same idle issues. My car stalls quite frequently. I was just tuned at Church Automotive and they were not able to fix my idle issues.

It looks like Hondata needs to consider flashing the stock ECU as mentioned.

Do I need to do anything more than just simply cut the wire before it enters the K-Pro ECU harness?

(Keep in mind that mine is a dual ECU setup with the dual adapter harness)

Drawbacks to hooking up Wideband O2 to ELD on TSX Dual

I've read that the ELD tells the engine how much electrical load there is. Are there any drawbacks to hooking up Wideband O2 to ELD on TSX Dual K-pro setup? Is any functionality lost? Is the ELD used by the K-pro? The main reason I ask is because I have a big stereo system drawing quite a bit of pow...

1) Which spark plugs were in the TSX when this basemap was created? Denso IK22 (Stock), IK22 (1 Step Colder than stock), or IK24 (2 steps colder than stock). 2) Would I need a different tune for IK22 spark plugs vs. IK24 spark plugs? Would the ignition tables be a lot different? 3) Which belt was us...

Thanks for the reply Mike. I'm actually basing my comparison on looking at the digital display on the PLX vs. the AF ratio reading of the Civic O2 in my datalogs.

Where are you sensors located? The Civic O2 sensor is in the stock bung of my DC header. PLX Sensor is about 1.5"-2.0" after the Stock sensor, also in my DC header. Both are before the flex pipe. I just did some datalogging and Civic Sensor was reading down to 11.49, while the PLX was rea...

Thank you for the responses. In your testing, how accurate is the Civic Wideband O2 sensor? I have a PLX M300 hooked up and and the PLX reads a fuel point higher than the oxygen sensor at high RPMs and WOT throttle. During closed loop, both sensors read close to 14.7. Thoughts? 1) What is the lowest...
