anyways: thank you.

Re: S300 v3 - green light, no dataloggin? WTF?
cut J12 - now it's working.
Thx spunkster.
but just for information: this J12 cutting is new, isn't it? with the S300 v1 this hasn't had to be done, right?
because i have used a working "s300 v1" ECU
kind regards Lukas

S300 v3 - green light, no dataloggin? WTF?
Hi guys, got my S300 lately and wanted to tune my car. unfortunatly: doesn't work. turning ignition on, green light on the S300 comes on. so far, so good. BUT: after connecting it to my laptop (Lenovo ThinkPad L440, running Win7), I don't get any datalogging at all. I get the "connected" s...

Re: SManager software requests
Boost Control via external knob: Since the S300 has that boost control option it would just be great, if you could setup your maximum boost (in percent of boostcut) via an external knob hooked up to the V3. if anyhow possible with some feedback in the dash cluster. so setting the boost to 40% of max...

Re: SManager software requests
Idea: make some kind of "history" in the logging, where the highest values are safed. highest IAT, MAP, RPM, VSS etc. this could be hidden for the tuner only or shown to the user. of course also for additional sensors, which are added. AND, as often asked, never been answered: more detaile...

understood. wiring up a switch is not that big deal... well... will have to take my laptop always with me :D
what about a solution, when connecting a smartphone/tablet via USB.
is that possible?
kind regards Lukas

Re: SManager software requests
Additional to Launch Control -> Rolling Boost: Idea: you run 60mph/100kph (for example) in 3rd. engine does 5.5k rev (for example) -> pust an external button to fix this RPM. now you can floor it, engine speed is not rising, but boost level increases. release button/press once more -> OFF YOU GO. un...

Re: Android applications
Can you add 2 features, please, in my case for S300 v3:
a) change instant MPG also to instant l/100km <- the german/european style (should be only a minor issue, since it's only calculation)
b) change Launch Control from smart phone.

Re: SManager V2.2.7 (beta)
don't know exactly if it is a problem with my laptop or SManager:
2 days ago, on the racetrack (Zolger in Belgium) we wanted to log some data onboard.
after our stint i wanted to download the logs to my laptop, but that didn't work properly.

Re: Tuned sea level, now @ 5000. runs sluggish, what next?
i haven't mentioned a new tune, because then it'll run great at 5000ft, but not at sealevel anymore.
you will have to compensate that somehow.

Re: Tuned sea level, now @ 5000. runs sluggish, what next?
the height above sea-level might be the problem.
normal P28/30 don't have that circuit inside, which measures the barometric pressure to compensate.
P72, afaik, have that. change the ECU and everything shall be fine.

Discussion: Adding more resolution to the maps or not?
I'd like to start a discussion about the map resolution for N/A and boosted cars. the stock maps are written, in my example I'm using the provided P30 USDM calibration by hondata, in non-VTEC from 500rpm to 8000rpm and VTEC from 0rpm to 8950rpm. I just wondered, why I shouldn't raise the resolution ...

Re: how to eliminate the voltage offset?
that would work nice in my car, for sure.
but when "in the field" this isn't the best solution.
will check it out directly with the battery. maybe this will be a "fast" solution.
