Re: FlexFuel (E85) system support?

Hey guys my tuner attempted to tune my car for flex this past weekend and this is what we found. Not to mention, this was his first time tuning flashpro's flex tables. Setup: continental flex fuel sensor, jun1or's friend's signal converter, wired into ect2 port on the ecu. We set up the signal conv...

Re: FlexFuel (E85) system support?

I have a friend that makes digital to analog converters for this. No gauge needed, or he does sell an add-on gauge. Not sure if it's allowed to solicit sales here however? It's on a BMW forum, ⚠️ PM for details. Disclaimer: aside from 20 year friends, I have no financial affiliation to my friend Sc...

Re: FlexFuel (E85) system support?

February 2018 marks 4 years on this thread. Quality work takes time. Two things I love about this update: 1.) Addition of the new table: ethanol ignition multiplier (did not see that coming, was expecting a static 6x2 table like e% fuel comp) 2.) Test results and recommended settings from real-world...

Re: FlexFuel (E85) system support?

Bump.

Still interested. Another season change has gone by and adjusting the maps manually from e70-e85 is getting old.

Again - to reiterate, this would be a 0-5v input, not PWM, thus no hardware changes needed.

Bump.

Re: Injector Dynamics Dead Times and Calibration

I'm well educated on injector dynamics, new to tuning them. I am having issues with idle, consistent fueling, and primarily cold start. My over run hangs lean and doesn't have a clean cutoff. My cold start seems to be very lean. This is with stock fuel injectors, stock injector calibrations, stock ...

Re: Injector Dynamics Dead Times and Calibration

I'm not sure of the dynamics behind why fuel overrun is best for tuning dead times, but it works. It helped me.

Are you using this method or looking for another or just trying to deep dive into dynamics of injector opening?

Re: FlexFuel (E85) system support?

Currently at West Michigan Honda Meet '15 (Gingerman Raceway) and was conversing with several other time attack and hpde participants interested in flex fuel support.

Many of us are using varying grades of ethanol that could benefit from flex fuel support via FlashPro.

Thanks!

Re: FlexFuel (E85) system support?

We try not to add features that are not good solutions. Bump to show continued support and interest. I just bought Hondata Traction Control, and yet, I'm still very interested in flexfuel support for Flashpro, and/or future versions supporting inputs and outputs like the natural progression of othe...

Re: FlexFuel (E85) system support?

Jun1or says that fuel and ignition control for different fuels based on a 0-5V input would be fantastic. For those of us with 91 octane pump gas, we would also need a boost limit based on ethanol content. As I understand an earlier Hondata post in this thread, adding Flex fuel capability would requ...

Re: Analog input sampling frequency

They are all around 100 Hz, with the exception of ECT2 which seems to be 5-10Hz. We've left ECT2 in as an option, because the same module is used for all analog inputs and it is easier that way. plug other vehicles don't (or may not) have the ECT2 limitation. So I would use any input other than ECT...

Just took out my PZX s2000 ecu and confirmed it is EGRL capable and unused. Let me know, be glad to help out the community.
