We are experiencing the exact same problem. If we try to use the romulator, we will get a solid check engine light and the hondata LED will start flashing. But once we put a chip in the ECU, it works perfectly. Hopefully someone knows whats the problem.

Make sure your looking at the OBD1 picture...also, the color of D14 should be white.

Yes, a p28 base map will work fine.

i figured i could do that..the problem im having is how to hook it up to the ecu to know that the ZEX kit is active...i still want to be able to use the ZEX box to activate the nitrous and fuel...

know that Hondata has the option to control nitrous using a dry kit. Is it possible to get hondata to work with the ZEX Wet kit?? I would still like to use the ZEX Nitrous Management Unit to active the nitrous and fuel, but have hondata retard timing when the nitrous is active..any ideas?

What ecu are you running?

I seen a picture of a p28 that was socketed by Hondata. This p28 had ceramic disc capacitors in location C51 and C52. Are these capacitors nessasary??? What is the advantage of running the capacitors in these locations?

Does the PLX display read the correct A/F ratio? If only the hondalogger is displaying the wrong A/F, you might want to check that D7 on your stock harness goes to D14 on your OBD1 plugs. Also, you should be able to download romeditor 3.5.3 from the user area.

Try checking your ground. I have had no problems with my plxdevices m-200.
