Re: After Firmware update, cal problem

Clark was not refused anything -- we resent him his final calibration as a courtesy (on 10/23 at 2:42pm -- not sure why he's on the Hondata forum here lying, we have the email w/ all timestamps) even though his emails were less than friendly (hostile). He was never denied any service or any request....

Re: Throttle body swaps

The CEL "fix" is going a long way, it's doing the trick for now.

A certain someone I know has adapted Lexus and Toyota big TB's to work on our cars with no issues, it was quite a bit of work the first time around ;)

Re: Throttle body swaps

Good info. Would be interesting to see the results for the TSX TB (07-08) as that's the one I was having problems with, maybe I'll get bored and take a look at it. However, what you just posted will go over 99% of your consumer's heads, and they will continue putting on the big TB's to make 2hp on t...

Re: Part Throttle Hesitation/Hiccup

There isn't anything "wrong". The logs show pretty clearly the transition from closed loop to open loop as the bypass closes and the motor either starts to see boost or gets close to it, there's your jerk of power. My personal supercharged 8th gen did the same thing, our 9th gen S/C car do...

Re: FlashProManager v2.0.9

TSX's working pro now.

Can we get the ECT cranking compensation tables exposed on the 2012+ Civic Si's? I have some E85 cars that need a little bit more love and the crank comp in the software is a little lacking at the moment...

2.0.9 link is broken, I'm assuming you're in the middle of releasing that version.

Re: DBW ITB Tuning

Hondata wrote:'WOT target adjustment table'? This table doesn't exist. Do you mean the WOT compensation table? In that case, any value over 12.5:1 will result in unpredictable behavior.
The WOT comp tables actually work great, I've used them with great success to fix drivability quirks on some vehicles.

Re: Ethanol content sensor readings

Attached is a screenshot into 4th gear on my S2K. Back when I had the flex content sensor down "low" using the OEM fuel lines on the car I would only lose 2-3% (.81 to .78 or so). Simply changing the fuel return to a big -8 feed (and upgrading to 2200 injectors) and a -6 return as well as ...

Re: Ethanol content sensor readings

I could latch the value with load or rpm, but I wonder what the best solution is. The ethanol content should only change when the tank is filled - the rest of the time it should be constant. Can you provide a few datalogs which show the changing value? I don't have KPro datalogs as I don't have a K...

Re: Ethanol content sensor readings

Fuel flow across the sensor (or lack of it) will cause the signal to drop low, I have confirmed this -- my 81% content will drop to as low as 68%. I noticed sensor placement will make this happen very easily under high load/boost -- if the sensor isn't very low in the return line then under high loa...

Re: 2012 TSX Fuel maps having no effect

The same thing is happening on a customer's 2014 TSX. Hit 15 cam and fuel mapping no longer responds. That's 2 TSX's I cannot finish tuning due to the issue.

Re: FlashProManager v2.0.6

Can we please have the DPI Scaling that's in 2.0.6 looked at? It's rather silly looking on my 3200x1800 display scaled to 150%. The scaling that was being used in 2.0.1 was much cleaner and actually scaled better relative to all the other elements in the UI. I use the touch screen on my laptop exten...

Re: 2012 TSX Fuel maps having no effect

I'm not telling you there is no problem - just suggested some things to try and narrow the problem down. OK... The vehicle was tuned by locking the individual break points, that's the only way to properly tune the car to begin with. I've gone back and went through a few more tests with the customer...
