I now have it working correctly with version 8 of AVG... Simply downloading and installing the new version won't fix it though. You have to add an exception in the resident shield options... The update to version 8 is necessary though because version 7 does not have the option for allowing exceptio...

Yes i did cut the ELD wire, but did not disable ELD in the software.. I assumed that you have to keep it running to get a reading. I will diasable it and see if the error code goes away. Did you disable ELD in the software?
Did you make sure you CUT the ELD wire and not splice the wideband wire into it? You must the ELD completely then wire your wideband directly in.

Its a preset in the software. You most likely don't have the new version. Make sure you check for updates.
